Dancing is a passion of mine. I used to do a wide variety, but recently I've only been doing a bit of contra dance. Its easy to learn and the live music is awesome. I go to ren faires every now and then. I actually had full garb a few years back. Nothing quite like tI'me with friends, camping, Big turkey legs, variety food, live music, and artwork. Ive tried to at least once a year make a long distance road trip to a new faire. Cycling at a more serious level is a recent thing for me. Got a nice road bike and as the weather has warmed up I've gone out for a few 20+ mile rides around the awesome trails. SometI'mes I find a nice spot and Ill stop for a while and take in the beautiful scenery. Ive got a suzuki sx4 awd manual that I recently purchased. Learned how to drive manual in the dealership parking lot actually. Fun tI'mes, but I picked it up pretty quick. When I read the reviews, the number 1 complaint about it was that it had difficulty with straight line acceleration. The concern was merging onto a highway in a hilly environment ... but that was for the automatic version. Now that Ive had it for a while, I've been enjoying stretching the envelope (to use an aeronautical term) to get the best acceleration. Basically since its a manual I'm in full control of the engine and transmission and can pull more power when I want it. MY taste in music is pretty unique. I like all the standard stuff everyone else seems to like except country. I absolutely love folk music, particularly anything with a skillful violinist.

My hobbies include backpacking and camping in the north GA mountains, and traveling about the country in my camper trailer. My hopes and dreams are to thru-hike the AT and to own an H-D motorcycle and tour the nation on it. I don't smoke or drink or do drugs, and would prefer the same in a lady. I am financially stable, and would like my lady to be also. I've never married or had children as I never seem to stay in the same place for very long. Unlike most other men in the south, I don't dip or chew tobacco, and I don't do much huntin' or fishin' or own a 4-wheeler. I don't necessarily hate cats(and they seem to like me), but I wouldn't want to be with a woman who has more than 1. I don't appreciate people who drive foreign name vehicles, but it would not necessarily be a deal-killer. I love them GA Bulldogs(GO DAWGS!), and enjoy Braves baseball. My biggest turnoffs are "gangsta" rap, goth/punk rock, and women who smoke. I seek a woman who is not so high-maintenance as to be above cooking and cleaning, as I am not above it and will do it too. She should like to do outdoor activities, such as camping, and be ok with getting her hands dirty by helping me doing things like a car oil change.
