I was widowed 5 years ago and definitely miss having a soul mate, 2005 was a bad year for me too much of lost that year. I love sitting out on my front porch watching thunderstorms and cuddling up with someone when I watch scary movies. But, let me put in a disclaI'mer: I'm high-octane ... lots of energy! I've got a myspace (like everyone else in the world, it seems), Like every woman on the planet, I'm not where I want to be body-wise, but I'm working hard to be the best Cunning I can be! I'm really into fitness right now; working-out, cardio, and I'm taking ice-skating (now THAT is a sight!) ... As far as who I'd like to date ... hmmm ... first and foremost, someone who's honest. Be YOURSELF, not who you think I want you to be. That wastes so much tI'me, because you can't be someone else forever and chances are, I'd like you for you, anyway. I consider myself to be intellectually-driven, so I'd like to be with someone who enjoys a good conversation, who has at least a glI'mmer of an idea of what's going on in the world, and who enjoys the mechanics of business or their chosen profession enough to be able to talk about it. I'd LOVE to find someone who's as into music and books as I am, but it's not really a requirement. I guess I'm looking for someone who likes to go and DO, but is comfortable staying IN and relaxing now and again, too

How do you HONESTLY describe yourself without going on an ego trip? I could make up a bunch of crap in hopes that you would like me more, but in the end someone gets hurt or is made to look like a fool. I am a 42 year old divorced mom with 2 wonderful children Jennifer & Nathan. If that turns you off, your loss, ! they come with me. It's a package deal no need to read further if you can not accept this fact. I have a job that keeps me busy 24/7 365 days a year, this does not mean that I do not have free tI'me. My job saved my life at one tI'me and I am adamant about returning the favor if at all possible. If too scary for you stop reading now! I do attend church when work does not need me, I am not a religous fanatic but I am thankful for every day that I see the sun set and rise. Stop if I am scaring you! Alot of people go on these sites to live vicariously thru other people Big word for a southern girl LOL. I decided to give this a try via advice from my teenager, she thinks I work too much and do not play enough. They keep me going who is going to pay SANTA if I do not keep working, not to mention, vacations, braces, contacts, dance classes, volleyball, basketball, etc ... you parents get this. In my inner circle are my beliefs, my children, my job, my family, & finally myself. I enjoy life in general and it is what you make of it. My motto "If you get up on the wrong side of the bed, go back hide under the covers for 5min. and get up on the opposite side. " If that does not work, the problem is YOU- not the beds. I am a very trusting soul, too much so. I will be the first to admit. I do not like confrontations of any kind, nor do I like dis-honest people, hateful people, selfish people. I have a giving nature so much in fact that I have often done without. All I am trying to say is do not take my kindess for granted. I am searching for my soul mate. I know he is out there or I would not still be here today- I am here for a reason and so is my mate. I am a very low maintenance lady. I have a pair of jeans I bought 13 years ago when Jennifer was born, they still fit size 6 and they look as good as new. I do for others before my self.
