I grew up in a very small town in the country here in Texas. It was peaceful. Although I somehow escaped without becoming a redneck, I still have a couple of tendencies. I have piercings and tattoos and plans for many more. I enjoy living in the city, going to bars and the occasional concert. I'm just a normal down to earth guy, and I stay away from drama. Oh yeah and I don't dance! I like most music, but mainly listen to punk or rock or anything between. I am into video games, computers, and other technological gadgets. I enjoy going to the movies and hanging out at home as well. The "few extra pounds" is going away. I've been doing Atkins since the end of April. I'm down 50 lbs, but not sure where I want to stop yet.

Well…first of all…, To begin with, if you have chips on your shoulder from previous relationships and those feelings are so "close to the surface" that you are so much "on guard", I will hesitate wanting to get to know you. I'm pretty easy to get along with. I'm generally pretty quiet, but I can be very vocal at tI'mes. I like to have my small veggie garden each summer and really look forward to the rewards from it given my efforts. I love to cook, especially for someone who appreciates a good home cooked meal. I like to BBQ all through the year. I like a good movie or a quiet walk in the park or on the beach. I like most all kinds of music (except I do NOT like head bangin’ or “acid” rock or “noise“ where you can‘t understand the words. Just a bunch of screaming. All that stuff is NOT music). I like to go fishing once in awhile. Small get-togethers with family and/or friends are nice too occasionally. I like anI'mals; especially horses and farm anI'mals. Guess I'm really a country girl at heart. I'm not looking for one of those "ships passing in the night" deals. That's not what I'm about. I like romance (sure, I like a romantic dinner for two and flowers) but I wouldn't really say that I'm a "hopeless” romantic. I do like my alone tI'me occasionally, as I'm sure you do too. I can be "touchy-feely" at tI'mes but I don't like that smothered feeling. I'd like to meet a guy that is caring, compassionate, and affectionate. A guy who likes to spend a quiet night at home and just cuddle and talk or share a good movie. A guy who takes pride in the things he does. A guy that is gentle, patient, trustworthy, dependable, honest and sincere and who puts home and family before his buddies and who will share home responsibilities with me. I would like to start out by meeting and getting to know you and lets just take one day at a tI'me. I do have two sons. They are both grown and live away from home. My oldest son is 34 and lives in Medford. From hI'm, I have an 12 yr old granddaughter. My youngest son is 27 who also lives in Medford. From hI'm, I have a 3 year old grandson.
