I moved here from Austin after 25-years in December of 2007 because I love Colorado that much. I am a full-tI'me online stock trader and work from my home office. However, I am also a real estate investor and currently renovating a house in west Denver. Being self-employed fits my personality and affords me lifestyle flexibility. Deeply passionate and a curious student of life, I have dropped everything to follow my heart’s desire. An ENFJ personality type (Meyers-Briggs)–-very in the middle on all 4 scales. I can start a conversation with almost anyone, yet meditative silence is an essential part of my life. A “Positivist” I can find a silver-lining in nearly every circumstance. I wake up happy, or at least content, 98 out of 100 days. Yoga and Qi Gong help me to stay centered and connected. And while my spirit is adventuresome and fun-seeking, I tend to be well calculated not a haphazard risk-taker. Humor and laughter are an innate part of who I am. I find my smiles are often reflected in the faces of others. In relationship I believe in “building each other UP not knocking one another down”. Other traits: Fiercely loyal in friendship, compassionate in my social views, conservative in my financial life, down-right goofy at tI'mes in boy-like manner, never afraid to man-up when need be, self-directed and well organized. Yet my greatest assets are my ability to adapt to change and to overcome challenges/obstacles. I enjoy car trips this tI'me of year or short hops to places like Austin. I own a small get-away place near Buena Vista…there is SO much to do and see there! As far as other interests go I enjoy many things I am just not super focused on any one hobby or sport: skiing, running, hiking, orienteering, and car camping. But I'll try about anything at least once! On a more Serious Note: I’ve led a self-examined life since 1987. Over that tI'me I’ve learned who I am on the inside--I know my true character and what it is to be a man. I've made many changes for the better ... I am a work in-progress. And have honed my interpersonal communication skills—and yes I am able to express my feelings/emotions, ask for what I need, and set healthy boundaries. I am able and willing to make commitment…and then to keep it. I am ‘well read’ on a wide range of topics and can offer comments/ideas on most topics. However, my mind and ‘ways’ are malleable; I can (and do) adapt, adjust and overcome to difficulties and/or changing circumstance.
