I like to be outside, going to the lake, riding bikes, playing sports, or riding my Harley. I enjoy road trips and like to get away for a long weekend with no particular destination in mind. I do travel a lot with my job and feel very fortunate to have traveled to all 50 states, as well as several other countries. I have a long list of places I would like to revisit again in the states, as I believe we have some awesome sites here in our own backyard. Please people, Do Not list yourself as average built when you are carrying more than a few pounds around your middle section or on your backside. This just might be a hint that you are at least a few pounds overweight :). I do not mean to be rude, but I am not attracted to, or interested in, dating anyone overweight, and have been surprised on more than one occasion when meeting someone for the first tI'me. This does not make for a comfortable first, and probably last date. I’m not saying that you have to have to a body that a 20 year old would be jealous of; it just means I prefer to date someone that takes care of themselves, both inside and out. I would consider myself a quiet person until I get to know you. Then all hell breaks loose. I'm the kind of guy who, if treated nice, will treat you better. I believe in treating others how I would want to be treated. I like doing the unexpected. There's nothing better than getting an unexpected smile from the ones you love. I'm honest and open. Willing to speak my mind and knows when to keep the mouth shut. I don't like to argue, and will clam up at the first sign of yelling. Friends say I'm easy going. I say, start yelling, and I'll just be "going". I know nobody is perfect, I'm far from it. But I believe communication and compromise is the key to a lasting relationship. I'm a terrible mind reader, I prefer verbal communication over facial expressions and voodoo mind games. I love to laugh, make people laugh and I try to see the humor in everything. My belief is "Your not having as much fun if your not laughing". (Unless, of course, your having too much fun to laugh) I believe life is too short, enjoy it while you can. I consider myself very handy when it comes to anything that needs fixing or building. There isn't a power tool I can't handle and a project I can't accomplish. I love working with my hands, and have a sense for "attention to detail". It's amazing what you can accomplish when you set your mind to it.

I have a lot of old fashioned values, but still realize we live in a modern society. I think chivalry should be a lot more prevalent like it was in years past, but maybe with a more relaxed feel as our modern world would rather see. Or maybe I'm just ranting? Haha. I am really onto trying new things whenever I can. I love trying new foods, going to new places, meeting new people, etc ... I am really into sports, playing, watching, going to games, etc ... I have a job in the career field I enjoy, though I'm not too excited about the agency I work for. Anyway, I hope this gives you sort of an idea of who I am. I love going out with friends, I have a firm connection with family, and would like to ultI'mately like to find someone who would like to build one of our own someday.
