June 15, 2014: It has finally happened. I received, signed, and returned my "papers" yesterday. In ninety days, mid-September, I will be divorced. Retired Police Officer from PA working on Masters in History at Missouri State. Permanently Separated. Yes I look older than my age but feel and act much younger. First off let me get my pet peeve out of the way ... I like sex just as much as the next person but I do not want to talk about it in every conversation we have. I do like to have fun with friends maybe a few drinks here and there but not all about clubs and drinking every night of the week ... I grew out of that years ago. I always hate these describe yourself things. Well, I guess reason I decided to try this is because I've always been a victI'm of "nice guys finish last" and the dreaded "friend zone". Maybe its because I could never bring myself to treat a girl like shit. I'm a pretty laid back guy, if something bothers me I just shrug it off. I love chinese, thai, and sushi. As far as hanging out goes, I'm down with anything. I like to ride bikes, catch a movie, just talk, whatever, its all cool. I'm a bit of an old school romantic, I like the traditional all-American date, you know, dinner, movie, stroll through the park, coffee as opposed to just sitting on the couch watching spongebob, not to say that that isn't fun sometI'mes, it's just not a real date. I really want to get some tattoos and maybe some piercings because I think they're cool and attractive. I'm a rocker by heart, I like almost all rock and the corresponding subcultures, but my favorite genre has to be punk rock. So I find myself really attracted to punk/artsy/emo chicks (sorry if that offends). I always love to help people, ever since I was a kid I wanted to be a shrink, but things change and now I want to be a history teacher. As a teacher I feel that I could help kids understand the world better and hopefully leave a positive I'mpression on them that will help them later in life. I know bad things can get some tI'mes and I get joy out of seeing them get through it and knowing I helped. I go to school full tI'me which is only three days a week, so my schedule is pretty open and flexible. What I really look for is someone who takes things for what they are, knows what they like and don't like, but still accepting and will to try new things. I always like a person that is a little odd, you know has something about them that sets themselves apart from the herd of sheeple. Also I love a girl that can cuss like a sailor.
