While I do truly believe all people are created equal, I am in search of WHITE men only. I hope I have not offended anyone and if I have, please accept my apologies. Having said that, I am still only interested in white men. :), I am a very sweet and genuine divorced woman. There's nothing phony about me and truly--what you see is what you get. I'm not looking for anything serious but in life, we never know so I'm not opposed to it. However, every relationship must begin as a friendship, wouldn't you agree? I don't play games and I am very familiar with the truth. I want a man who is likewise. I pay my own bills so I'm not looking for a man to do that for me nor am I looking for a father for my children--they already have a very good father. I am employed as an environmental resource writer for non-profit organizations and I also teach American Sign Language to those who wish to learn to communicate with the deaf and hard of hearing at a local community college. I just got word a few days ago that it appears my book is a very good candidate for publication. That thrills me to no end. My book was written for myself with no hopes that it would ever make it to print. To know it might (and most likely will so I'm told) make it to the bookshelves makes me very proud. SometI'mes, amazing things do happen all around us, huh?::beer::, I was married for 23 years and I've been divorced for three years. In that tI'me I've dated three men; two white men and one black man. I am still friends with all of them. I'm that way-when I make friends I make them for life. I smile often and take life as it comes. I don't whine about change, I make change happen when and wherever I can. I'm not some woman with a giant attitude. I think people have that outlook on life when they feel they have something to prove. I have nothing to prove to anyone; I am who I am and believe me, I am VERY comfortable in this skin. In the last year, I've lost more than 40lbs without surgery or diet drugs. I expect to lose much more if I'm able to stay the course but this I did for me. I felt it was tI'me to make that happen and thus, it's happening. I'm not looking for some guy to motivate me and help me to stay the course. I'm looking for a guy who's cool with me just as I am and who will likewise, appreciate me as I physically evolve more into the woman I someday hope to be.
