I enjoy taking walks during and after a snow fall, cool crisp morning air and a hot coffee, camping by a babbling brook. Curled up on the couch with that special someone and watching a movie. Sitting on a porch swing and of course, thunder storms. Campfires, fishing from a river bank on a warm summer night, listening to the frogs chirp and the lonesome call of a loon. The enthusiasm and laughter of children chasing fireflies, watching the mist rising from a glass smooth lake. Those to me are but a few of the most cherishable moments life has to offer. I would be lying if I said looks are not I'mportant but I would not pursue a relationship based on looks alone because, sooner or later, we all get old and withered. Therefore, ones inner beauty is far more I'mportant to me then ones physical beauty, The best way to describe myself is, well, a treasure chest: honest, caring, warm, affectionate, kind, humorous, social, adventurousness, open-minded and fun. I've taken, ballroom dance lessons but I gravitate more towards club dancing where you can let it rip, and just let loose (with some ballroom stuff mixed in). I enjoy being in the moment and genuine conversation that can last for hours. I guess I fall into the hopeless romantic category and I still believe in spicing things up, whenever possible (candles, fireplace, little surprises, etc). Never a dull moment -:). I have a, quick and dry sense of humor that I even enjoy myself. I exercise regularly (push ups, sit ups, Zumba, hooping) and try to make healthy food choices. I'm at my target weight and am in great shape. There's lots more to tell, but hey, isn't that the fun of discovering?, So I guess it all boils down to this: I'm a sI'mple man with sI'mple tastes. I don't need to "live on the edge" or eat at the best restaurants to enjoy life. When it comes to relationships, I'm not looking for a sugar momma, a one night stand or drama. I believe a man and a woman should complI'ment one another. That they should be supportive of each other in all aspects of life. I'm not I'mpressed with fancy cars, fast boats or those living the lifestyle of the rich and famous, nor am I envious /resentful of those who do. Besides the obvious of no smoking and no drugs, there are only two qualities I'm really looking for in a woman: a sense of humor and someone who "gets" me. The second one's a bit tricky since I only get myself half the tI'me. I think the ideal first date would be an activity, as opposed to a lunch, dinner or drinks. Something like bowling, putt-putt, arm-wrestling, etc. And yes, drinks can be part of the activity. I love to dance ... regarding my dancing skills, think of the scene in Hitch where Will Smith tells Kevin James "this is where you're at. " I am a pretty decent shagger though. Yo guys! I’m Raymon, like Raymond without the ‘d’ and I’m looking for something real, something meaningful and something lasting, all of which seem to be I'mpossible to find where I temporarily live in Virginia. I’m at a crossroads in my life and have decided that Ohio is the place that I want to be and it’s tI'me to come home, meet someone wonderful and settle down. I’m not sure when I’ll be moving, but it would be nice to get to know some people before I do. I also visit frequently as 90% of my family lives around Cleveland and Toledo. I was mostly raised in Virginia, but spent every summer in Ohio with my grandparents and consequently, picked up most of my mannerisms from them. I’m very much Midwestern in my attitude, work ethic and values, which is maybe part of the reason I can’t stand Virginia. I’m a pretty laid-back and straight forward guy: I’m honest, wear my heart on my sleeve and have been told that I’m too nice. I guess I don’t know any other way to be. Life is short and should be lived to the fullest, which is how I try to live mine. I wear Levi’s, t-shirts (usually my favorite bands or Pac Sun type stuff) and boots. I have two cars. Music is very I'mportant to me, weather I’m sitting here typing this, in the shower or singing my ass off in the car. I love to drive, anything car-related and taking long trips or drives for no good reason at all. My ideal guy is all-American, well rounded and has a good head on his shoulders. I want a guy that will cherish me for me, just as I’ll do for hI'm. I’m not perfect and don’t expect hI'm to be either, but a good personality goes a long way towards winning me over.
