Let me see ... I am a military retiree, and a father of 2 boys (living with me). My sun sign is Libra, with an ascending sign of Taurus. I am financially comfortable and in fairly good physical shape (exercise several tI'mes a week). Being retired, I now have the opportunity to sI'mply "slow down", enjoy, and appreciate the smaller things in life. I also teach online college courses from my home. I am your basic, down to earth, fun-loving guy. A music lover at heart ... mainly Jazz, Old School, R&B, light Rock, Reggae, Blues, and a little Rapp). I am not an outdoors person by nature (not into nature's creepy crawlies), but do enjoy the beauty of nature. I generally make an effort to avoid drama of any kind (even drama movies!), and live my life by seeking the positives in people I meet - rather than searching for their negatives (we all have them if we look hard enough). I prefer to think of myself as spiritual rather than religious. Rather than chose from one of the many religions that surround us, I would much rather live my life by doing my best to be the best person that I can be, and treat others as I would like to be treated. It's worked pretty well for me so far ?, I love to try new things, and have plenty of energy. I have a special love for rain storms (not lightning!); reading to relax (Dean Koontz; Stephen King); Chinese food; weekend getaways; and working on my hobby (electronics and gardening). For movies, I like those that make me laugh (comedies), those that entertain (Horror, Sci-Fi, Thriller, and "some" action). I don't do Drama or Racial "fiction" movies. I also don't do funerals (I'm not even coming to my own!). SI'mply put ... I love laughter and good tI'mes!:), Friends first, and see where it goes. Since the separation from my wife, I have no desire to rush into another "relationship", but I am realistic enough to know that the heart carries an emotion that we have no control over ... So anything is possible. I'd like to meet someone who is mature enough to have some control of their life (emotionally, physically, and financially), and still young enough (or not emotionally damaged) at heart to enjoy life's pleasures. Someone who has a warm heart, open mind, caring soul, and a sense of humor. I strongly believe that a relationship without communication can't exist for long, and one without humor is boring. I believe that you should be able to just be "yourself" with a person - and grow, and not have to "walk on egg-shells" or lose your personal identity. The road I travel is fairly uncomplicated and I believe that every day of your life should be filled with as much "fun" as possible ... Life is too short :)

First off, I'm interested in a casual relationship with someone. I really just want to have some fun for once, so I'd kinda like to find a woman who wants the same. Someone who isn't afraid to get down and dirty in the outdoors. Maybe a little bit of a country girl spirit. Intelligence is a must though, plain and sI'mple. Looks aren't a big thing for me. Yes I think there has to be physical attraction, but I don't need supermodel looks and double D breasts. I want someone who does take care of themselves though. Gotta be healthy. And no, I'm not a health nut by any means, I just mean that you do what you have to do to keep healthy. I enjoy spending as much tI'me as possible outside. Most of the tI'me I'm out fishing for anything that's biting. I've been a fisherman since I could first hold a fishing rod. My family goes up every year to a fishing lodge in Canada. I also should say that I am originally from a small town in Wisconsin, which makes me a small town guy. Living in Daytona Beach for school isn't terrible, but it isn't my favorite place to be (see next section for some more info about that). As for other activities, as you can see above, I'm up for a lot of stuff. I also enjoy watching movies and some television. My top channels/shows would be discovery, history, house, deadliest catch, CSI (the original), and the red green show. Mega bonus points if you enjoy the red green show! Quando Omni Flunkus Moritati. I love dogs and am not really into cats. They seem kinda sneaky to me. Back home I have two white labs who are just crazy. That's about the best way to describe them. Umm ... I'm going to ERAU in Daytona Beach for Aerospace Engineering. Love the school, the professors, and everyone I've met. Only problem is that the ratio of guys to gals is about 5 to 1. So not the best selection are left for dating.

My life can be described in two names. I love my kids more than anything in this world. I'm a honest, kind, loving, giving person, and most people mistake my kindness for weakness so ive learned to be a **** when I need to be. I love music, movies and I can't say I have many hobbies as I've given up everything that id like to do for myself for my kids. I do love theatre but none of that in this small town. I love music and listen to all music: from rap to county to gospel. I do tend to favor country music which I get lovingly picked on by my friends for. I just joke and say I'm racially confused. only music I can say I despise is mexican/mariachi music. if I'm going to listen to spanish music it will be caribbean music like salsa /merengue which I love to dance to. I'm often described as nice, independent, strong willed and funny. The last not intentional at tI'mes but I usually just say what I'm thinking and it doesn't always come out as I thought it would. I'm not so great at describing myself so its better to just ask ;) I am weary of whole online thing but living in a small town not many places to meet new people, plus seems most guys in this town aren't worthwhile. I do understand that not many guys will consider a girl with kids, thats just reality. Regardless I do have high expectations as I believe everyone should have for themselves. I do believe in romance and although I dont believe in "the one" I'm still hoping there is someone out there for me that is a bit of a hopeless romantic. Its the small gestures and things that count. I wont settle, I know what I want and how I expect to be treated. And although this may sound superficial or a bit shallow ... I care about physical attraction. I think were kidding ourselves if that is not what attracts us to someone in the first place. I take care of myself and want someone who does the same.
