Thanks for reading my post, OK, so I'm not Prince Charming but I have lived a Charmed life and would not trade nothing in it for the world. Above all, I will treat you with the respect that both of us deserve ... I prefer to live by the Golden Rule. I retired from a state agency that worked with delinquent youth (The Texas Youth Commission). After that I worked as a substitute teacher. Right now I just dabble in odds and ends to keep me busy. Prior to that I worked in Marketing and Public relations for some area Hospitals. I feel very fortunate in that I have had a life that has taught me to be humble but not insecure. One of my favorite quotes is "Don't let my kindness serve as an act of weakness. ", I also served in the US Marines and was a jet mechanic (F-4 Phantoms). I am looking for a woman that can be my friend and hopefully lead into a relationship. I have a lot of interests and am constantly learning. I am book smart but also street smart. I have mingled with the rich and lived with the poor and am quite content at this stage in my life. If I watch TV I prefer documentaries, History channel, Travel channel etc. I don't like: horror films, Dancing with the Stars, the Kardashians, American Idol, the tea party and oatmeal.
