I never knew it would be so hard to describe yourself but here it goes! I am the proud father of a 10 year old boy who is my whole world. He is my best friend and the coolest person I have ever met. I am looking for someone who loves kids and is willing to accept hI'm as part of the package that comes with me. I am not looking for a mother for hI'm, he already has a great mother but I do want someone who will be a positive influence on his life. They also need to understand that he is a priority in my life. I am a romantic person who loves to give and get affection. I am not saying that people will say "get a room" when we are in public but I am not afraid to act in a way that people will not question that we are a couple that is in love. I want someone who I hate to leave when I am with them and who I can't wait to get back to when we are apart. A person that when I am with them in a crowded restaurant it is as though we are the only people in the world. I want to feel that "spark" when we touch and feel goosebumps when we kiss. I give great hugs and have the perfect shoulder to both laugh or cry on. I enjoy many outdoor activities which include: camping, sailing, scuba diving, fishing, going out on my boat, swI'mming, ski/snowboard (I guess anything with water involved be it solid or liquid. ) I also enjoy hiking and as corny as it sounds, long walks on the beach in the moonlight. I am an avid reader and enjoy a broad range of books from non-fiction to Stephen King. I enjoy museums and art (I minored in Art History) and usually hit some up when I get into the city. Travel is another way I like to spend some tI'me be it going diving in the Caribbean or driving to Maine or to Pennsylvania to the Amish country. I enjoy everything the East End has to offer like trips to Montauk or the wineries for a tasting. I like to go out to dinner but I am just as happy staying home with that special someone cuddling on the couch in front of the fire watching TV, a movie or just talking. I believe that if you are with the right person it really doesn't matter what you are doing, you could have fun at an insurance seminar. People tell me I am very funny and I have no problem being the butt of my own jokes, in fact I often am. I can be both witty and sarcastic but you will always know when I am kidding since I can be pretty I'mmature at tI'mes and I also don't like to hurt peoples feelings. I have no problem if you call me out for a bad joke or being childish, call them like you see them. I am very honest and trustworthy and insist on the same. Liars and cheats need not apply. I also am aware that everyone comes with baggage but please don't bring so much that the airline charges us extra, and I want our closets to be skeleton free. A bone here and there is fine but I don't want a graveyard. I love sports (Giants, Knicks, Yankees and Rangers) and it would be nice if you like sports too but it isn't a deal breaker and if you like different teams well then we have something to have our first argument about LOL. I also started to go back to the Gym so if someone would like to join me and keep me motivated that would be a plus also. With that said I am looking for someone to fill the void in my life that being single has left. My partner, soulmate (cheesy I know) and my match.
