Quick details up front so you don't waste tI'me reading (take with grain of salt as they are just bullets):, I'm 6'3" ish and about 170 lbs so I'm tall and slender. And no I didn't play basket ball except for fun. I am introvert. While social and at tI'mes talkative I'll tend to be quiet at first, especially in new groups. I'm a geek and proud of it. Computers, Sci-fi (no conventions), anI'me, the works. But don't worry no suspenders, I have a very sharp /dry sense of humor and often find humor at the oddest tI'mes. More about that later. I just came out of a divorce, so I'm not looking to get married again any tI'me soon, though it's not out of the picture. Also I have no interest in being the father to any children that aren't mine (sorry, but better to know now than later. And finally TRUST. I will inevitably trust the people in my life with my life. Often tI'mes beyond what most think is reasonable. However, if you lose or betray my trust or sense of honor you might as well move on b/c there will be no where in my life for you. Ok, now that the quick points are out of the way I can babble on about myself (which I hate doing in profiles). Let's see ... I'm more of the intellect than the sports guru. Though, I did play soccer for years before tear up my knees when I was younger. While, I do like to catch the game (football or hockey mostly) at the bar with some friends I don't go out of my way otherwise to fine them. I have absolutely no ability to draw, sing, or dance, though all three are entertaining to watch me do so I've been told. My passion and abilities have always leaned towards the written (hence the novel of a profile). A few years ago I completed my first novel, but proceeded to edit it nearly out of existence. Did I mention I have a bit of A. D. D. about things sometI'mes. When I'm not working I enjoy staying in with a good movie and companion (no slap stick please). Equally I like to go out and have a nice dinner and conversation, see a show, take a walk, play some pool, or just watch my little dog run around the yard. I have a wide variety of tastes in all things of life from music, to people, to art (love photography), to drink, and just about everything else. This of course means I have a variety of decoration and nick-naks around my house (yup owner of an eternal to-do list). Finally about what I'm looking for b/c I'm tired of babbling aI'mlessly. I'd like to find friends and hopefully more. I've tried going back to the bar /club scene and it sucks. I like to be able to hear the people I'm talking to and not have to be horse at the end of the night. Equally, I'm not about trying to fill my phone with booty calls. But to be perfectly honest it's been years since I've dated so I'm trying to figure it out again. I'm not hung up on material things or status and hope to fine the same. Also I love anI'mals and this is a must in anyone in my life as I have a little pup that's apart of it too. Other than that I'm fairly open to what ever comes along. I found awhile ago that when you don't look for something too hard you tend to find it. That's it ... no more babbling. If I put everything in there I'll have no small talk later.

I am usually up for most anything! I am an easygoing and straightforward person. I have been around long enough( being over 40 is great!) to know how friendhips and relationships develop over tI'me.
