So I am a realist--a lot of others here seem to think this is a future spouse or soul mate site---I don't think so although I have made some friends here and friends are cool so yes it isn't just for hookups. I enjoy live music and movies of all kinds and meeting interesting people from all over the US and Canada. I like seeing places a lot of people never see--exploring, and going to the places tourists often dont see. I enjoy (and make my living) on technology of all kinds so yes I am a geek and I'm not ashamed of that--I can talk Trek or other sci-fi yet have a few beers and watch football too---I am able to adapt to all kinds.
