Someone please answer a question for me… What’s going on with the obligatory bathroom pic? Why do most profiles have at least one in them?, Anyway, I’m fairly new to this site and want to see if this site had anything to offer that the other sites don’t. I’ve been disappointed with the other sites. Most people on them want to email back and forth, but never have any intention of actually meeting anyone. I’m hoping this one is different. I’m looking for, at a minI'mum to make new friends. I’m not going to come right out and say that I’m looking for a Long Term Relationship, but ultI'mately that’s the goal. It seems that every tI'me I or anyone else puts themselves in the mindframe of finding a long term relationship, they tend to mold themselves to be in that and they lose track of who they are. No matter what, I’m going to be me. I’m not going to change myself to be with someone just for the sake of being with someone. I’ve compromised who I am too much before and I refuse to do it again. Either you want me for who I am and not what I have the potential to be, or you don’t want me at all. A lasting relationship shouldn’t be about compromising, it should be about complI'menting and enhancing each other. I’m not a drunk, but I do drink socially and I’m not looking for a drunk either. I prefer a glass of Merlot over a beer. I prefer to keep my senses about me instead of losing them. Besides, I think it’s more fun watching and laughing at drunk people rather than being the butt of peoples jokes. I love all types of music except hardcore gangsta rap and new country music. Don’t get me wrong now, I think new country artists are incredible talents, but they are more POP now than they are country. I think that artists today lost their identity and don’t hold true to their roots anymore. My musical tastes vary. One minute I will be listening to hard rock, the next I could be listening to Barry Manilow (go ahead with the jokes, I’ve heard them all). My employees in my office hate some of the music I play and make fun of me, but I don’t care. I am an avid pool player and played semi-pro years ago. Not anymore though. Now I just play for the fun of it and play on several leagues and play in a few tournaments to occupy my tI'me. Wish I had something or someone else to occupy my tI'me though. I could go on and on about myself, but why? I much prefer meeting someone face to face and talking to them in person. With the advent of internet dating, I believe people lost the art of true conversation.
