I feel like I've filled a few of these outs ... these websites are all the same kinda yet there's different people on different ones and I guess it depends on what google or other search engine presents to you. Anyhow ... I'm a hippie but I'm not a hippie. One of those crazy vegan types though not the "convert now!" types. People are free to do what they want in life ... I'm a strong believer in that and don't look down on people sI'mply because they have different beliefs than I do. I philosophize a lot and live on a huge hippie commune. Think thousand plus acres large. Lots of land to go hiking on, but then again lots of work to be done. I cook a lot and am pretty known for my cooking ... I also bake bread and do a lot of experI'ments with fermentation. I'm in the process of growing tobacco for medicinal and smoking purposes and brew a 5-gallon batch of beer once a week. Not too big on recreational drugs, but I tend to like my alcohol ... a gin martini causes my muscles to relax with every sip and it's a beautiful feeling. I don't get full-out drunk a lot ... don't care too much for that ... however a drink or two a day is alright with me. I'm a tome of useless (and sometI'mes useful) information with a little knowledge about a ton of things though nothing specialized. The epitome of being a Gemini in Mercury. I'm looking for someone who is intelligent, freedom-loving (true freedom, not what the country tries to say is freedom), creative, somewhat nerdy (or geeky), potentially shy (as I kinda am too), and someone who's not freaked out by the concept of potentially coming to see what a hippie commune is all about (nevermind the stereotypes ... they're full of crap ... dunno if I can say "shit" on here). Anyhow ... I just want a friend, a confidant ... someone who I can rant with, watch stupid cartoons and abstract movies with, and if it goes beyond that then hey, why not?

Anyone wanna go to the Ft. Bend Co. Fair?! ;) Must be able to dance! I'm just here checking things out. Trust and communication are a must. Other than that, I'm pretty easy going. I really don't have a "type" of woman in mind. There are countless things that could attract one to another. I enjoy just about any activity that keeps me outdoors. I like to hunt/shoot, camp, ride atvs, but at the same tI'me, have no problem sitting inside and watching a movie. I put a lot of value in family. I have a small, close-knit group of friends. I've learned over the years to hold onto the ones who count. I am not someone who has to be "out" every night. I like to be social, but it does not control my life and it is not my main priority. I like to go out and have a beer and dance just like every other guy, but in moderation. I have other things to occupy my tI'me. I have a 3yr old daughter that I devote much of my tI'me to. She is wonderful. I'm a hopeless romantic that is left wondering if there is any real romance left in the world or if we've become a society so self-absorbed that romance is a thing of the past and something you only read about in books. It seems "I love you" just doesn't mean what it used to which I find sad and tragic. I'm a big believer in "say what you mean and mean what you say". I'm a diehard sports fan. Texans, Aggies, Rockets, Astros ... I follow them all and occasionally find the tI'me to take in a game in person which I like very much. College football is my favorite by far. I'm Average Joe. I cuss, I cut up and joke, I'm serious, I cry, I love. I'm very passionate about certain things, and when I feel that something is worth fighting for, I dedicate 100% of myself to that cause. Don't ask me about politics or religion unless you have some serious tI'me on your hands. I'm very approachable and love meeting new people and seeing new places. I was in the Army on active duty for 5yrs, then did 3yrs active reserves. Following that I did a handful of years as a civilian contractor with/to the government/military. I enjoy my work, but have decided those days are behind me, as I've mentioned, I have a 3yr old daughter. I spent 2009 in Iraq and Afghanistan attached to the Marines as a civilian contractor. I guess that was my last great hoorah as far as gallivanting all over the planet. I'd like to do some more traveling as a tourist and see some of the spots I've missed. Anyway, now I'm rambling.
