Hi There ;), My name is Ashley. I'm 26. I love to laugh. I just recently started nursing school so sometI'mes I am a little crazy, and randomly spouting medical jargon. When I don't have my nose stuck in a book, which is big enough to kill someone might I add, I am generally hanging out with my girls trying not to get ourselves into too much trouble or relaxing with my family. My favorite place in the whole world is the lake, there is nothing like waking up real early when the fog is still on the water, getting in boat, and catching some fish. I love to cook, Paula Deen is my idol and am a big movie buff just ask me I bet I have seen it. If I haven't please please please take me to see it ... lol. I love to sing in the shower and out. However there is still some debate about whether I should or not. I like just about all music from classical to rock. Except for the Beastie Boys its a long story, but you are welcome to ask. I am very proud of who I am and if you have a problem with that, that's okay but honey you don't know what your missing. My kids are awesome and I am and always will be there for them. However they are growing or grown up and spend less and less of the half tI'me with me. I am a transplant, but have been in Colorado since 1982. Would love to travel to tropical areas again for sun and fun, but need somebody to join me. I am not sure about this on line dating thing, but will give it another try. On the lighter side ... I bake 30 minute brownies in 20 minutes. I have never walked into a spider web. I always pick the best shaped Christmas trees every year. My truck sets itself at cruise control. I like the dark "and" white meat at Thanksgiving dinner. When I watch the Avalanche play, they always win. I have never been bit by a mosquito. The lights on my house at Christmas require no electric power. I always hit the green traffic lights. MUSIC:, I like most types, except Rap & R&B. Rock. Bob Seger, Nickelback, Daughtry, Lada Gaga-(NOT HER, just her music), Green Day, Aerosmith, and much more, but mostly new or classic rock. It is hard for me to describe my personality. I find that different people and situations bring out different aspects of me. I love life and find I enjoy being with people who do also. I love to explore and learn new things. I love the outdoors but not discomfort so much (bugs, heat, humidity). The best summer of my life, I spent traveling throughout the west in a motor home and seeing all the wonders. The next most favorite part of my life involved traveling the music circuit. My kids played bluegrass concerts. The fun was all the jamming and singing at night. We made great friends and have so many wonderful memories. I love acoustic music and the arts in general. Most recently, I have been dancing. I went through diff stages: country for a while, then salsa (while i was also studying Spanish), and most recently West Coast Swing (a fun, playful dance once you get the hang of it). I have been attending dance conferences where great dancers tend to gather. I have loved that, yet I feel I need some balance in my life. I am at a stage where I need to "move on" and am not sure which direction I will take. I would like to make new friends and try some new things. I really want to find a committed relationship but i don't rush in to those. I need to get to know people so that sense of "belonging together" grows naturally. I know that I need to be with someone with a good sense of humor, curiosity, and intelligence; someone not threatened by not knowing everything but rather who loves exploring and learning; certainly not someone who is threatened by an intelligent partner. I need someone who wants to share life honestly, lovingly and happily with a best friend. The I'mportance of integrity comes to mind. Chronological age is not as I'mportant to me as emotional maturity/stability and physical fitness. If you feel that you might enjoy the same things I do and "fit the bill", I would like to get to know more about you. If you have a page, I think that is a nice introduction.
