Looking for at first to make new friends. Perhaps a companion. I've been to many parts of the world or US and enjoy discovering how we are all very different but also so much alike. Our surroundings seem to affect us the most. Everyone has a good story. As much as a 16 hour flight or drive has not been an inconvenience, I hope to find more friends that live a lot closer. I live now in the western suburbs. I prefer Florida than the desert if there is a choice in winter. The top still was down here when Green Bay added another Superbowl ... I like water and nature and if combined in a sport all the better - with the exception of how water is not too good on your golf score. I do have my Padi diver's card if you occasionally like to see the nature in water. My windsurfer might offer a different type of water challenge. I enjoy walking or hiking more than running or biking (is fun in many areas however). I'm very comfortable with just about anyone and have found myself a few tI'mes in situations where a smile and I'mpromptu sign language was the only way to communicate. I'm not sure if it qualifies me as a practical problem solver but to navigate your way to an English or Irish Pub in almost any country dramatically I'mproves your ability to have a good conversation about the area. (At least for a while. ) You also don't have to worry if what you drink is safe. I like to listen to those that have their experiences too. I'm also very comfortable in the kitchen. Maybe that is because I put too much DIY and Food channel interests together at one point years ago. Fast food to me is when I cook it on "high" rather than a lower heat. A campfire or grill is almost as good of a kitchen too. I grew up under the influence of a chiropractor so it has always been I'mportant to me to understand nutrition no matter where. I've never had to made out a resume but from the tI'me I worked it has been from retail to construction to recording studio engineer (mainly in advertising). Then moved on to theatrical and event production manager/owner to now corporate services where I'm back to having a few retail and other business to business clients. Grandma made it to 102, dad is a spry 83 and often I am still called by other family members with a "y" added to the end of my first name. Once the youngest ... always the youngest. I don't care and actually enjoy that because I still feel and act the youngest. Good friends and family certainly help in that too. Faith is I'mportant to me as it usually defines our values. Being able to share those values seem to make the best friendships. I'm curious as to what this site might offer too.
