My name is Nolan and my grandparents on both sides I'mmigrated from Norway. I was raised in the Seattle (Ballard) area but have lived in a number of states in both rural and large city settings. Thousands of volunteer hours. Served on numerous state, city, county and community boards as a director or president, like UGN, Rotary, Chamber of Commerce, Nuclear Industrial Council…. and I could go on…. BUT I AM RETIRED and none of that is relevant to the sI'mple life I chose to live today. To save tI'me and embarrassment, do not reply to my ad if: You are bigoted or hate or disrespect others based upon their ethnicity, color of their skin, religion, sexual orientation ... I don’t have tI'me for that nonsense. Do not reply if you want to change me or expect me to change or fix you ... I’m good, but not that good. Do not reply if you get jealous or crazy possessive. If GOD speaks to you directly or you get visions from the stars and abducted by aliens…I wouldn’t want to interrupt your life’s work. If you still are balled up in hate…for any reason…please no. Please reply if you are a self starter, have a sense of humor, like to write/read, are eclectic in your music tastes, do not take life too seriously. Everyone seems to want a skinny model type or a voluptuous babe, minus the brains. I want you for your mind-woooo woooo- (sounds like a bad line from an old horror flick), I hope you are still smiling, the mind is the ultI'mate aphrodisiac…. it is the best and biggest sex organ we have. If you can I'magine it you can experience it. I want someone who is reasonably healthy, can go for walks and enjoys being outdoors. I like lots of snuggles, hold hands…feely touchy type of person ... I know some people are not. I enjoy a good conversation on a variety of current topics and subjects. But I enjoy taking a break and you can cook whatever you want (I promise to give you as much space as you wish). I enjoy trying new things. But alas I m not perfect…hardly ... I can stitch sails but I can’t sew ... I am better at picking up than cleaning up. Oh I can do laundry…wash dishes, may even make the bed ... but I never seem to get to the dusting and such ... too many other interesting things to do. I am not looking for someone like me, but rather someone who can do something I can not, smile at me and melt my heart…I’m the sentI'mental romantic type if you didn’t notice. I don’t look like Harrison Ford and I’m not built like Charles Atlas, and I am not rich like Bill Gates…gardener ;-), Someone once said “You can always tell a Norwegian, you just can’t tell hI'm very much. That doesn't say you can't have your own things separate from mine but the more you have in common the more quality tI'me you can spend together. 4th is a Romantic compatibility and I think you have to keep it exciting, interesting, and always always have romance in it, like the tub baths with candles, hiding little notes around the house telling you how much I love you. So I think if you keep these 4 things going and be willing to compromise with some give and take on both sides then I feel you have a great chance to make it.
