My favorite activities include making dinner with friends and family and having spirited conversations about pretty much anything; snowboarding in deep powder on a clear winter day; racing sailboats or "just messing about" on the water; playing mixed doubles on the courts; scuba diving (in warm water, preferably!); rock-clI'mbing (outdoors rather than in). Some special favorite things include: sailing and watching the stars come out, riding pillion on a motorcycle, summer mornings, hitting the perfect backhand, a ’67 Red Camaro SS or a ’53 MG (maybe someday Santa will bring one!), picnics, the smell of the ocean, “Spring” snowboarding before Halloween, sun sparkling on water, the smell of a campfire, leaves changing to red and gold in the fall, rain on tin roofs, “lipstick sunsets”, silk, vintage red wine in a balloon glass, ripe tomatoes and fresh basil, white flower gardens on summer nights, meteor showers, comfortable old blue jeans, art, Scrabble, books, concerts at wineries, dressing up, dark chocolate and champagne, candlelight, lace, the first sip of coffee in the morning, daffodils in SpringtI'me, fog, being pleasantly tired after a good workout at the gym, waking up to the sound of the surf… Life is definitely not a spectator sport; it should be lived to its fullest with a huge smile on your face!
