I have been divorced for a few years, while I found some very nice people in the NOLA Bar/Club/Music scenes they just have not been the right ones for me. Looking online looking for a nice person, a friend and of course a girlfriend. A person who can be nice to others even strangers. I have a soft heart for those in need but believe in teaching how to fish not just feeding a fish. Recently retired from a 32 year career and although I will get involved with more volunteering. I love New Orleans, the fest, the food, the people, the music sites, and also love to travel ... but always come back home ... Love traveling to National Parks and big Cities, looking forward to doing an extended European trip next year. I believe these extreme labels or views are often best for but a few and often driven by an agenda that is often self-serving of a single cause or class or belief as if they have found the only answer to the problems with the world. Get real! I'd rather stay open minded and be considerate and flexible enough to respect a person, a situation, a cause and choose to agree or disagree but not at the risk of denying others of their beliefs. Just don't try to shove your views it down my throat. I am a forgiving person who believes in second chances believing no one is perfect. I believe in Christian values but do not force my beliefs on others. There are hippocrites or extremist in all religions and those without any faith as if they have the answers to the world without any doubt. Let's be friends ... or more?
