Hello all. My name is Charles. I am a 46 year old male who lives in Troy, NY but I was born and raised in Saratoga Springs, NY. I am recently seperated (going through the divorce process). I have 2 young kids who I have joint custody of. They live 30 miles North of me in Hudson Falls, NY. Spoiler Alert**** There is no drama (sorry for those that think there has to be). My ex and I get along very well and we are very civil, we were just not the 1 for each other, that's it. But we are parents for life so we are very civil and positive role models (both of us) for our children. I have a full tI'me job in Glenmont, NY and I am in the Army National Guard in Bennington, VT (part tI'me, one weekend a month, two weeks in the summer), I love music, any kind as long as it is positive music ( I don't listen to negative music nor will I let my kids anywhere near negative music either). I have played in bands for over 20 years. I play bass, drums, guitar and piano (actually bass and drums are my main instruments, I can play chords on the guitar put no leads and in my opinion I suck on piano but I can fiddle around on it). I do compose music and write songs, anything from classic rock to funk to classical ( I like all 3). I don't go out much (composing and writing is mainly a indoors thing lol) but when I do go out, I tend to like to relax and take in the sites. I do love spending tI'me with my kids who are 6 and 5 years old so I do go up North to all their special school activities plus spending my regular tI'me with them. I (along with my ex) are trying to raise our kids to be positive citizens in America so we are in our kids lives. So what am I looking for? What every man is looking for, honesty, chemistry and positivity. I am a 46 year old man so I don't have any lines or games (sorry). I admit I did have those ... back when I was in my 20s! TI'me has changed and now I am a 46 year old father of two who wants his song and daughter to be positive. I am not looking for a supermodel body (I am 5'9" and 150lbs so I am no hunk). I am also not some magical knight in shining armour I am a plain, ordinary man who works and pays bills and loves his kids, family and friends. I am not into drama. I am a Security Advisor at my full tI'me job and I am in the Army National Guard so my work is enough drama with my life or anyone else's life bringing more drama. I am quiet and laid back but I enjoy humour and good laughs. I have a positivity group online that I started back in December 2009 and have 652 members so far, I do believe in keeping people posiitive. I want to finish by saying if you are looking for a bad boy /street thug type, that's not me. I was born and raised in Saratoga Springs and I prefer small towns and small town way of life. If you are looking for some stud that will rock your world, that's not me either. I am 46, I like to sleep too lol. Like I said earlier I am a average guy who works and pays bills and would like a woman by my side to enjoy life with. I am not going to apologize for being a man (sorry if other men have treated you like crap but that wasn't me) I am not perfect by any means but I am positive and that is I'mportant to me. I don’t have kids of my own and I’m not sure if I want to have a baby or not, but it’s more than ok with me if my partner has kids. Besides that, I am a big dog lover, those are my kids. I am a bit of a geek sometI'mes, I love computers and technology a lot, I also own guns and enjoy going shooting now and again, but I do not hunt or kill anI'mals. I can be macho, after all I am a man, "don’t worry honey, I can fix it", and although I love to laugh, I tend to be serious, but also a dreamer. And I’m not your avenge Neanderthal ;-), What am I looking for? A beautiful, intelligent, highly passionate, attractive, loving, funny, sexy, honest, well-adjusted person that loves life, has her own life and her own interests, and wants to make it better with another, how’s that for a good start?
