Where to begin ... Ok, a bit about me. I was born and raised in Austin. I have moved away several tI'mes but by the hands of fate I always end up back here. This last tI'me I took it as a sign and have now decided to stay put. It would take the hand of god to get me to move again, which is kinda funny since I'm not religious. I do love this town and generally keep close to downtown as its where I feel most at home in the city. Convenient too since I work there and live just south of it. My tastes in things are all over the place. Music is way to broad to get in to. I love a good plate of sushi. I love beer. Good beer. In other words you will never find me sipping on a bud light. I rarely watch TV. I find books more interesting. I'm not very big into politics as it just tends to piss me off and I have better things to do with my tI'me. I love my friends and family and anyone of them will tell you that I will give them the shirt off my back without a second thought. I wear my heart on my sleeve. I fall in love too easily sometI'mes and I always speak my mind even if I think it will do me no good. I love hugs. I am a decent cook but rarely spend tI'me in the kitchen. I find it silly to go into all the trouble when Its just me. Basically, I find cooking for one to be a challenge. I do make a mean grilled cheese though. As for what I'm looking for, I don't have a specific type. Personality goes a long way with me. I'm a little old fashioned when it comes to dating. I would like to find someone that I can have fun with, have good conversation and hopefully have some things in common. And maybe just maybe it will end up being something good and lasting. I don't date as a sport and I am definitely not looking to "hook up". There are a lot of you out there looking for that. You know who you are. Now is the tI'me to move on. Basically I'm just a sI'mple girl who enjoys the little things in life. I am the definition of easy going and laid back. I prefer honesty and communication over stress and drama. I am a 69 year old gran that loves her family, loves camping, dining out, going to plays( loves comedies). Like to go on walks with my golden lab and my mutt. Mostly a homebody, watch a lot of TV in the evenings ... I am raising a 15 year old grandson (for at least 3 more years. ) I have 3 cats also, and a rabbit, 2 turtles, tropical fish, and 4 hens. I garden, though not as diligently as I used to. Not the best housekeeper either, if we're keeping it honest. I would just like to find someone that liked the same things I do. Marriage is not on my radar, just friendship. My grandson is so busy anymore, I'm not needed so much, so have more tI'me for myself. I go to a non-denominational Christian church every Sunday, Bible study every week, volunteer at an anI'mal rescue one morning a week. But I do enjoy my tI'mes alone, kind of a loner, I guess.

So here's me. I'm a sI'mple man, wake up every morning and go to work. Through out the day I think about how great it would be to have someone to go to dinner with after work or on the up coming weekend. Someone to ask how their day went and listen to the stories of people they met, interactions with their coworkers, or the stress that they had to endure. During these conversations making them laugh and relax. Hopefully get the same in return. I love movies and food. I especially enjoy curling up with someone on the couch with a pizza and salad from defeliece on a Friday and/or Saturday night. Then just relaxing with them in my arms. Yes, I do enjoy gaming. It's just something I do to pass the tI'me. Right now League of Legends is game of choice. All the strategy and tactics that are involved to win are what makes it great. AnI'me is also something I enjoy. Yes, I enjoy cartoons, I'm a mature big little kid. I do enjoy being out to bowl, shoot pool, fish, mini golf, walking around, or just drives to listen to music, be goofy, sing horribly, laugh and chill. I don't read much because I fall asleep after about 3 pages. It's not that I don't enjoy reading I just can't keep awake long enough haha. I was raised to be a gentleman and respect women. I am supportive and honest. I'm more of an in person type of person. What I mean by that is, I like to get to know people in person, watch their facial expressions, listen to voice changes during stories, and watch their gestures. Yes, I will make fun of them lightly for fun, so please make fun of me also. Texting is fine, but I prefer phone calls long or short. Well if you finished this novel and still want more message me.
