So how's it going for you? Starting over? Picking up your life one piece at a tI'me like I am? I know ... it's hard. Thought I knew who I was until cancer ended that dream for me in May 2011 and took my husband. Your story probably is different but you are probably looking for happiness, right? As I'm picking up the pieces in my life and putting them back together again I realize they don't fit back together like they used to. I am not the same person I was and what I may be looking for in a guy just might not exist ... So ... this is what I can tell you about myself:, My heart will melt if you have the courage to sing to it ... music dances in my soul. Sounds corney I know, but there is something about a song reflected back at you, a look, eye to eye contact and you just know. OK, dinner ... yes, I can cook. BUT, if you can cook even better. Nothing says love like a guy spending hours in the kitchen cooking his favorite dish for his girl over a bottle of wine. Then we have water or fire ... you pick. If I say water then it could be the beach ... I LOVE the beach and late night strolls. OR it could be fire as in campfire and s'mores. For activities, I love working in my yard, fixing up my house, or shopping for antiques. I love looking for the not so ordinary. Yard sales, flea markets, car shows, art shows, anything near the water, market places, Sunday drives, exploring new places and my camera. I don't like watching sporting events but I enjoy going to them. I love my daughter. The biggest event in my life so far was the birth of my grand daughter in October 2012. She is the light of my life and I will never forget that early morning. But the drama of family you can keep to yourself. Music ... my love of music starts with the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, etc. but I also enjoy listening to the current radio (my favorite Kink). A small dark corner of my heart I keep for Willie Nelson and Johnny Cash and only them, no others allowed. I love most movies - my favorite JRR Tolkien Series. I am a graphic designer for a small community newspaper (no, the newspaper is NOT dead). I also keep a blog which I enjoy. I grew up in Walla Walla, WA. - went to college in Spokane Falls, WA. Well here goes, I will tell you a little about me and hope I keep your attention, and not bore you. First I am a bussinessman and can date and live anywhere around the world. I can't fix it if I don't know about it. 3rd is you have to have compatibility and have things in common you like to do. That doesn't say you can't have your own things separate from mine but the more you have in common the more quality tI'me you can spend together. 4th is a Romantic compatibility and I think you have to keep it exciting, interesting, and always always have romance in it, like the tub baths with candles, hiding little notes around the house telling you how much I love you. So I think if you keep these 4 things going and be willing to compromise with some give and take on both sides then I feel you have a great chance to make it. So now I would love to hear about you.
