Hi. This site was recommended to me by a respondent on one of the other sites. I figured that since I was already dealing with humiliation there, it wouldn't hurt to try it. The worst that could happen is that I would become twice as frustrated, and once you're frustrated the degree isn't all that I'mportant. Anyway. I am a 61 year old man who has recently been let go by an 8year companion who suddenly decided she wasn't happy with life as we knew it, and the grass would be greener elsewhere. And so, I am here. I love music- nearly all music. I don't care for rap and when country gets whiney it is sort of like fingernails on a chalkboard, but otherwise I am up for anything. In all honesty I prefer rock and classical to most other genres, but any music is better than none. I play guitar in a manner best described as ineptly. My greatest fault is an abiding love of automobiles, or perhaps I should say my indulgence of said love. I have been self employed since 1984 but am anticipating closing the business in a year or so and retiring to a life of leisure, or petty crI'me if the republicans keep screwing with social security and the markets keep swinging like the Tacoma Narrows bridge. I was once considered a fairly talented artist but when I realized that there were millions of people with real talent I gave it up. I may pick it up again when I retire. OK. In case anybody is still reading this, I would love to hear from you. I am seeking a last lifetI'me partner, partially because that's what I want, but that desire is affirmed by filling out these stupid profiles.
