I like to think of myself as pretty laid back. I work full tI'me and own my own car, meaning I dont owe any money on it. In my free tI'me I like to nerd-out on a plethora of sci-fi tv shows like Eureka, warehouse thirteen, stargate, etc ... I also spend a large amount of my tI'me just hanging out with my friends and family. I am a bit eccentric, (well ... maybe more than a bit), a DEVOUT Trekkie and a Sci-Fi addict. I am very fit, and like just about anything you can do outdoors. I have Quarter Horses and enjoy riding them. I love the beach and the sea, and would like to learn to sail my boat. (I have a Ranger 23). I like to swI'm, fly fish, hunt, shoot (guns and bows) hike, camp, snow ski, ice skate (not very good at either of the latter, but I do like to try!), and travel. I would like to learn to scuba dive if I can ever get the tI'me! I expect honesty and respect, and give the same in kind. I am quite affectionate if I am attracted to someone, but reserved as well, ( I like to test the water before I jump in!) I enjoy good food, dark rum, intelligent conversation, movies, quiet tI'mes, dancing, cook-outs and Dr. Pepper. I have LOTS of cats, so if you're allergic, (or just don't like cats)we may have a problem. I am equally comfortable in shorts and flip flops, a 3 piece suit, formal gown or jeans and tee shirts. I still look pretty good in a bikini, too. I am told I do not look (nor act) my age. I have my own home and a small acreage, and am quite satisfied with both. I am not afraid to get dirty, and will tackle most any project with enthusiasm. I am quite self sufficient and very set in my ways. I am looking for a compatible companion to enjoy life's treasures with, friends first, then we'll see. I am NOT looking for a husband or someone to support me, I can support myself! If sex is the main (or only) thing on your mind, don't bother, I'm not interested in one night stands. (There's more to me than that). I try to find the best in people, and often this can come back and kick me in the butt. I wish that people would just be nice and more tolerant of each other and that fighting would not exist. I am a lover not a fighter. I love traveling, and wish I had more tI'me and money to do more of it ... not to mention a companion. I have 2kids and love them more than life itself. They are my oxygen, but they will grow up and leave, this I understand. I am looking for a lover of life, a high energy individual with a wild side. I would love to find a woman with a great sense of humor and a true sense of self. I love affection, kisses and hugs. I am a believer in romance and being deeply in love. I would love to find someone with the same sort of feelings towards life that I have.
