I'm here because I work odd hours and on my days off my social circles are almost all in relationships w/families so I have little opportunity to meet other singles. Plus this is a great way of filtering through what would normally take 2-3 dates to find out under normal circumstances. So now a little about me, I know how to take care of myself, the people around me and my life. I can match you on your level, inspire you to grow and I can contribute as well as I can receive. My hours are crazy, I work graves 5 days a week(edit: My hours are changing back to days very soon 8/21/11). On my days off I have my son (well every other weekend anyway) who is by far the best/cutest/well behaved person I've had the pleasure of knowing, so I'magine my pride knowing that he is mine! :D I do all types of things when he's w/me, but if he's a problem for you then good luck in your search and I hope you find what it is your looking for. So now onto what I'm hoping to find (if you have any/all of these then we should talk, lol) I'm into women that know what they want in life. Can have a conversation, even if we don't see the topic on the same terms, and doesn't play head games. Can have an opinion and be ok with mine possibly being different. I love a woman that can sing! If you can hold a tone you may very well melt my heart. Is into some of the things I am but also can contribute their own. Can be spontaneous and get in a car at the drop of a hat to head out on a 8 hour trip to Lake Tahoe or San Fran just for kicks. If you have a great smile or beautiful eyes I'd probably be sold, I know it sounds cheesy as hell but really when I see those qualities all I can do is enjoy your company that much more! i'm currently a registered nurse at a local hospital yet still in school to complete a post-master's program to become a nurse practitioner. i should finish in december and plan on going in to palliative care. i own my own home and support myself. i consider myself to have expensive tastes but by no means am i stuck up. while i love the finer things in life, i'm just as happy in a sports bar watching hockey or ufc and drinking some cheap domestic beverage as I am anywhere else. i have an eclectic taste in sports teams and i thoroughly enjoy a good friendly (most of the tI'me) rivalry. i love to have a good tI'me and always try to make the best of every situation. i have often been told that i'm "too happy" but if this is my only downfall then i must be doing pretty good! I am very family oriented and career driven which is apparently very intI'midating to some. i refuse to let anyone interfere with my dreams and aspirations and thus if this is a problem for you, then please don't bother. i love to travel and find that I am most at home and relaxed when on a beach somewhere with a cold drink in my hands (preferably in the caribbean but i'm not too picky). as i already mentioned, i love sports, both watching and playing them. i love watching movies, going out, hanging out with friends, meeting new people, etc. i have a huge weakness for guys in the military and/or firefighters (what girl doesn't love a man in uniform?). however i'm still waiting for one of them to prove they aren't all complete ***holes. i'm addicted to the color pink and audrey hepburn movies. christmas is my favorite tI'me of year although i wish i could spend it somewhere warm ... i hate cold weather!**what i'm looking for: someone who can make me laugh and respects me. honesty is key. someone with no baggage. if you have kids that's great, but i don't need any baby mama drama. i don't like drama and certainly don't want to deal with yours! please be doing something with your life. i've been very successful and worked incredibly hard to get to where I am. i expect the same from you. i'm not necessarily looking for a relationship but i'm open to the possibility and i'm certainly not looking for a one night stand. i'm not that kind of girl so if that's all your after then move on along. also if you're married, i'm not interested and you can carry that shitsomewhere else. i'm not a fan of having your wife blow my phone up over 50 tI'mes and proceed to cuss me out via text just because you're a****who can't keep it in your pants. just sayin ... also, i expect honesty up front. i don't want to find out 3 months in you have a baby on the way or that you're not ready for a relationship after begging for one. i was born and raised in the country, i talk slow but that doesn't mean I am.
