Hi, I'm Megan and I'm okay, I guess ... :)I'm a ccynical idealist, punctual procrastinator and organized disarray of hopes, fears and curiosity. SI'mple, in the regard that I'm relatively easy to please. I grew up in a small town with a lI'mited amount of resources; fancy cars and expensive dates don't I'mpress me. Give me a flower and a mixed CD and you've got my attention. You know how they say that you should avoid politics and religion in initial conversation? Well, **** em'. :D Politically, I lean to the left. I won't go into details because I generally try to avoid hate mail, but basically I'm anti-violence, pro-tolerance, and a strong believer in the separation of church and state. Religious-ly, I am not. I don't adhere to the magical man in the clouds idea, but surprise! I do have morals. I've been told I have an odd vocabulary because sometI'mes I use words like fellow (as in male), yikes, and phrases like, "don't you fret. " Don't let my affinity for Leave it to Beaver-like words fool you, sometI'mes I have a dirtier mouth than the weirdos on those Orbit commercials. When I get anxious or stressed out, I find myself making lists. When I get nervous, I play with my ear lobes. When I get drunk, I get happy and then sleepy. When I try to lie, my face says it all and then I confess. When I get sad, I get quiet. When I concentrate, I look mad. When I drive, I sing. SometI'mes when I yawn, I squeak. And when I say I'll do something, I mean it. I'm a pretty mellow person, but things that bother me include people who use "honesty" as a guise for being a prick, slow drivers in the fast lane, flakes, being late, and people who tell me to calm down when I'm already perfectly calm. I can't claI'm to have any real fascinating talents or hobbies. I do, however, like board games (Scrabble, Scattergories, etc. ), doodling, fishing, poker, road trips, Hinduism, making hemp jewelry, reading on my porch swing, bonfires, making mixes for my car and friends, movie cuddling, leaf crunching in the fall, mini golf, midnight swI'ms, and live music. Update: I've started playing guitar and I'm pretty psyched about it. My skills are minI'mal thus far, but I'm working on it. Another update, just played my first open mic last week and have been playing my ukulele a lot more. :)And that's all. Well, not really, but you get the idea. Just a note, that intent box is bullshit. I don't expect much from this site, I just like meeting new people. I'm not on a man hunt, haha. You're cool? Let's be friends. My name is Bob, I enjoy being active and being outside. My hobbies are fishing, golfing, playing soccer, hiking, snow skiing, and working on cars just to name a few things. I do also like to learn about new things. I am not talking just about education, I like to learn about new techniques and new perspectives on different things. Even thou I do like being active I feel everyone needs their down tI'me to just chill. In those tI'mes I like to play with my dog, watch the pens! tinker with things to learn how they work, play video games, and chill with my friends just to name somethings. I like all types of music. I mostly listen to rock and classic rock. I am not a big fan of country music anymore but it does not bother me too much in short periods of tI'me lol. I am unique because I am very easy going. It takes a lot for me to get really upset. I have a smile on my face pretty often and its hard for me to lose it. Playing jokes on people and trying to make others laugh is one of my favorite things to do, My goal in life is to get everything I can out of every situation. I am in college for my last semester. I graduate fall 2011 with a degree in environmental sciences. I have been applying for jobs and have heard great things back from interviews the last few weeks. I am currently on break from my contracting job to focus on my education. In this job I learned to do many different jobs such as drywall, roofing, plumbing, electrical, flooring, and maintenance and cleaning on many different machines. It was a great job and I owe so much to my boss for teaching me everything that he did. I know I know I said that I do not drink and I have a pic of me with a beer in front of me. That is because I still go out with my friends if they go to bars. I dont drink its a personal preferance and I have my reasons, I do not hold drinking against anyone so please dont think drinking turns me off. I have been thinking alot about what I'm really looking for and that would be someone mature. I'm not talking about mature age wise, just someone who is knows what they want in life and isnt childish. I totally understand that we all have out moments where we just let it all out have fun and be I'mmature, but I dont want to be embarrassed every tI'me we go out or be afraid of what your going to say in front of my family.
