I am not your typical gal. I don't do the whole "drama" bs ... and I'm not the type to constantly call or text anybody. I rather talk face to face. I mean, ya, I'll talk on the phone and text ... but not that much. I listen to all kinds of music. I love listening to music. I'm originally from Las Vegas, Nevada ... born and raised there. Well, atleast until I was 13 years old. Then, I moved to Georgia. Just recently I went back to try and live in Vegas, thinkin I would love it, but I was wrong. Got into the whole gambling and drug crowd. Was headed down the wrong road. So, I came back to this side of the country. I moved here, to Jasper, about six months ago. I don't know anybody really. My dad and sister lives here. But when it comes to having "friends" I have none. It sucks. I have a job ... my own place ... I pay my own bills ... the only thing missing is a car. I'm lacking a car ... but in the process of saving for one now. I like dogs, but have none. I love poetry, write it all the tI'me. I have some college education. Went to a college in Mammoth Cave, KY for Intro into Microsoft Computers ... didn't last very long before I got home sick. So, I moved back home and went to South Georgia Technical College, for Culinary Arts. That's right, I can cook. Quite well, in my opinion. I have no kids, not sure yet if I want any ... I like to drink ... but only on my days off ... I love to laugh ... I don't know what else to say ... I'm looking for someone with a great sense of humor. Someone who enjoys being around family, and will accept mine ... I'm real big on the whole family thing. I'm not looking for a "gold digger" ... although I don't have much money ... and YES there are "men" who are gold diggers ... been there ... done that ... I want to be able to love, again. I been single for a long tI'me ... I'm very shy ... but once you get to know me ... it's all good. I'm looking for someone with a job (well, atleast that would be a plus). Okay Girls, new addendum RE: coffee/drinks/dinner. I’m kinda coffee/drinks/dinnered out. If what you write in your profile is a concoction of fantasy, viz. a list of things that you think sound interesting/fun but you don’t have any intention of actually doing, i. e. hiking, cycling, holding hands while talking and walking, slowly together in the Park. Enjoying the chill autumn air; admiring the light as it fades to a crepuscular backdrop that outlines two happy, laughing silhouettes, one barely distinguishable from the other… Anyway, the weathers too nice to be stuck in somewhere talking about…well let’s be honest; talking about stuff that amounts to very little. Am I the only one here that detects a seemingly formatted pattern to most of these meetings?. Come on Girls we're not that old and predictable are we? Let's put a lil zest back into the game and have some fun! The past is gone. Learn from it and move on or, remain stuck, repeating it over & over. It’s beginning to seem to me that I’m the only one here focused on now and looking toward the future. Hi, before you bother to read further: I am not an 'online' guy. I'm not interested in an online relationship. I need a real-live tangible girl to cuddle up with. Don't expect an extended online correspondence with me. I've found a lot of girls seem to want just that, sorry. Also, I've had a 'bad experience' with someone because she decided things were going too well between us. Now there is no us. Look everyone has 'issues' you, me, and everybody. Get over it. If falling in love frightens you, just say so. If you're interested only in something superficial just say so. Sadly, I am not telepathic. Kindly overlook that disability by speaking what is on your mind; i. e. just say so. I am a great compromiser and pride myself on being able to see another’s perspective. I’m not a pushover but, I will usually consider alternatives to my own point of view (Much as I might wish otherwise, I really don’t expect things to always go my way. ). I am very pragmatic in my approach to life, trying not to get too worked up over stuff outside of my control or beyond my influence. At the same tI'me I’m quite a romantic idealist at heart, and this sometI'mes causes me a degree of internal conflict when it comes to daily affairs (I am sensitive but, I assure you, not fragile. ). Life is so disorderly! I am pretty upfront about myself and the way I’m feeling. I’m surely not the Sensitive New Age Guy that Christine Levin sings about but I certainly am in touch with my emotions. However, I have been told I often appear somewhat outwardly stoic to others. Honesty, monogamy, and sexual compatibility are the 3 most I'mportant things to me when it comes to a romantic relationship. Of course these cornerstones presuppose a mutual respect for and empathetic understanding of each other as individually autonomous beings. When all these qualities are reciprocally accepted and in line everything else in the relationship just naturally falls into place. I find any other “issues” practically resolve themselves when launched from this platform. Some other things about myself: I’ve been told my sense of humor is somewhat dry. I suppose that’s true. I think I’m hilarious, but a lot of folks often do miss my subtle innuendos. At tI'mes I have a tendency to be a bit sarcastic too. Only in a sensitive, politically correct way though – yeah, right. Some circumstances can bring out the “ball-buster” in me, and I can be a “wise guy” as well. Although I can take it as well as give it. There is not much I take personally. I’m not easily insulted and I get over things quickly. I don’t hold grudges, that’s just too much work. I’m not lazy. If anything I’m overly proactive. I like to be prepared as I can for contingencies. Though I’ve been told I respond with startling alacrity to the unexpected. I can be, and often am, spontaneous in many ways. But overall I’d say I prefer order over chaos. Generally I am well organized & rather disciplined.
