I am sure that most of you can not deal with a guy who is disabled and that's ok, I'd rather you be who you are than be who your not. Before I go on, I am disabled from a motorcycle accident that happened back in 1986, my right side is completely paralyzed from my right shoulder to outer knee. I have quite a bit of pain from nerve damage in spine. I can still walk and I enjoy walking when I feel up to it as exercise besides just using it to get where I am going. I haven't worked for about 2 years now, I've been on disability and I no longer drive because my medication. I am sure a good lot of you have left by now that I explained myself more fully. Now, If you think I need you here to feel sorry for me then you are dead wrong. I don't mind having human compassion at all but I do mind pity and I don't want it. I have been divorced for at least 14/15 years, I have one child, a son who lives in NH. I love hI'm very much. I live by myself in my luxurious Cobleskill apartment, just kidding. I am not rich and have been through enough pain in my life to realize that money and material posessions don't mean shit. I have enough to pay my bills and thats all I will ever need. I don't need to collect things or show anybody my worth because I am secure enough with who I am. If you think I am knocking those who have money then your wrong, I am knocking those who "have" that knock those that "have not" and theres a difference. I have friends that love me for who I am and can care less on how much I have and thats what I mean. Before I left my career because of health issues, I was an on-air radio DJ and worked public relations for a large retailer. I worked too much but I still wanted to at least do something. I then took a lesser paying job helping out in Wal-mart for a couple years before my doctors told me that it was tI'me to hang up my hat for a while and I was due for surgery. I loved working and I miss it too but I have come to understand that I shouldn't feel bad about who Iam, where I am or what I am doing now in my life either. I have been on my own for a while and it took me a while before I actually was able to learn to be happy living with myself. I would like to find someone who through freindship might lead to something more. I have found that it is more I'mportant to find someone we enjoy being with, talking with and spending tI'me with than it is to just find someone who is just nice to look at or sexually compatible with. If you haven't realized that by now then we are looking for 2 different things. Most of us love sex but it's no longer as I'mportant to me as it is finding someone who I can get along with on a daily basis. Arguing is tedious and taxing, who needs that kind of stress anymore is beyond me. If you want to become freinds with a possibility of something more than send me a note and maybe we can share a cup of coffee or whatever your poison is and we can get to know each other. The best memories I have of the last few years is the tI'me I have spent with my nieces and nephews. I am pretty sI'mple like the Lynyrd Skynyrd song. At the same tI'me I can over think and complicate things. I am definitely very human. I try to stay humble and not judge other people but view most politicians and religions as part of the problem. I am spiritual person and lakes, dogs, music, and a childs laughter give me peace. I am still learning and growing as a person. I have over 20 years sobriety and I am lucky to be alive. I am not baggage free but I am not the self destructive teenager who stole cars for fun. I am not the white trash crI'minal I was raised to be but I have family members that still are. Being balanced is one of things I have been working on in my personal developement. All or nothing was a motto I lived by for years but realize it has lI'mitations or too much expectations that lI'mit life. I am a survivor who grew up into a beautiful person. I need a kind, drama free, wise woman who will be a friend to me when I am being emotionally retarded. LOL ... I can laugh at myself when I do dumb things like walk into walls. I am a blue collar worker and I am not refined, wellbred, or fashionable. I have 3 tattoos. I once took 3 months off and camped in the Rocky Mts. Roughing it doesn't bother me and washing in a freezing mt stream wasn't enjoyable but watching 2 Redtail Hawks dive bombing 3 Bald Eagles flying by was worth it. Nothing really worth having is easy ... I am looking for somebody to grow old with, a partner to travel to the places I have always dreamed about. I think it is I'mportant to share and focus on goals and dreams together as a couple. I am looking for someone kind, down to earth, polite but who won't let people walk over her. Who treats others like she would like to be treated. A loving, respectful, friend who realizes it takes work to keep love alive. My job takes me away from home alot, sometI'mes for long periods. I need someone independent enough who can handle being alone more than either of us want. It is I'mportant you are racially and spiritually tolerant and not married. If you have a need to convert me or save me to what you believe keep moving. Someone who believes that reading to a child at bedtI'me is an I'mportant thing in their developement. It is a beautiful thing. Someone who loves big dogs like Newfoundlanders and or German Shepherds. Someone that loves to cuddle. I need someone who has some kind of spiritual believes so no atheist's please. I am part Native American and I have read about most religions and respect and value most of them; but what works for me may not work for you. Spiritual choice for any children I may have is I'mportant to me. In the end they are responsible for their own souls. Who I am to say I am right?
