Hey, my name is Michael, but most of my friends call me Mike. I just moved here from Ohio, and I thought id try this app out and see if I make any connections. Now, a little bit about myself ... I'm a pretty easy-going guy. Life is full of ups and downs, not to mention unpleasant suprises. Because of this, I've come to realize in my own way that you shouldn't get too worked up about what comes at you. Another thing is I can be very two-sided, especially when it comes to confrontation and assertiveness. In some areas, like my past and family, you'll hardly ever see or hear me speak, giving the subject presented. On the other side, such as politics, I will be very stand-offish and assertive; sometI'mes even a little agressive. I have very strong political views and will not hesitate to present them and defend them against those who mock or challenge them. That being said, I am also very open-minded and compassionete when I need to be. Ignorance is NOT bliss, and for those who dwell in it and attack others in ways that I do not approve, I will not hesitate to defend them and give the offender a piece of my mind. No one, should be abused or bullied, and I will NOT tolerate any of it to be subjected to those around me. Especially my friends. However, I'm not a guy who tries to use his fists to end arguments very much, if at all. In fact, if you know me, you'll find I'm a pretty decent guy! :), My interests, as you've probably already realized, include politics. I also LOVE to read; and if you don't ... well ... that's a shame, to be entirely honest. I believe literacy is very I'mportant, and you will almost always see my nose buried in a book whenever I have the chance to read. That being said ... I also love to weight-lift, and will be at the gym at least three tI'mes a week. I'm lazy when it comes to homework, and will procrastinate BIG TI'mE, especially if I'm on break. I swear, sometI'mes I wish I could outlaw math forever. It just doesn't add up y'know? Lol (by the way, if you've managed to come along this far, I applaude you!), As for women ... well, don't get me wrong, I'm not Mr. Universe! Although I keep up quite well with hygiene and all that, my diet is a whole different story. Despite that, I DO have standards, and there does have to be some form of spontaneous attraction. (Other words, 5 feet one and 2**5 pounds isn't gonna cut it). As superficial and contradictive as that sounds, its the truth. Adding onto this ... women are very complex and compassionete creatures, (most of them, anyway) just like the opposite sex. I'm no femenist, but I believe women should have just, as much as their male counter-parts. I sI'mply cannot STAND a husband who beats or abuses his wife. Why should she have to go through that? For me, a women that gets to know my personal strengths and weaknesses and will push me around a bit and be a bitch (figurativly speaking) every now and then to get me back, onto my feet would be GREATLY appreciated! Moving on, I would be greatly inclined to help, her with her drama and downfalls too, if, she needed it. To be bluntly honest, there's no, better feeling than knowing that someone cares, enough for me to go out of their way of doing, something and help me get back on track. It, gives you a feeling that you mean something on, this world, y'know?, Now you know a bit about me! Like I said earlier, I try to be a pretty decent guy!
