I would still love to be a full-tI'me artist when I grow up. I love being involved in my community, particularly with anything that promotes art or music education. I recently became the President of the Board of Directors for a community orchestra called Sizzling Strings. It is an orchestra for 4th-8th grade students designed to help further students' skill level during summer rather than allowing their skill set to deteriorate from lack of practice while school is not in session. I was one of the 18 founding members of the group in 1996 (I was in 5 th grade, I've been a Bass player ever since) and it has continued to grow and evolve over the past 15 years. I am incredibly excited to once again be a part of this wonderful group of people and to be able to help plan fundraisers, concerts and events for such a great cause.
