Originally from England, I am a free-spirited lady who loves to travel, entertain, be entertained, communicate and thoroughly enjoy life. In the Sixties, I was a pop singer who toured theater clubs in England and Wales, and entertained American troops in France and Germany. When my sister quit show business, I became a Blackjack dealer and dealt on the QE 2 Cunard ocean liner in the early Seventies. That brought me to America where I got a degree in Journalism and went into broadcast journalism as a documentary and segment producer. Over the last few years, I became a fundraiser for New Jersey's public television station, NJN. When NJN was closed down by Governor Christie, I accepted an offer to join a regional community theatre as its Development Director. I worked in Morristown, New Jersey until April 2012 when I decided to relocate to Vero Beach, Florida after purchasing a condo. I'm currently raising funds through my own production company in an effort to produce documentaries and informational TV series for both Florida and New Jersey Public Television stations. I'm enthusiastic about my work, which is my vocation, but I believe strongly in balance. That means I like to take tI'me out to play on a regular basis. My favorite way to unwind is jumping in my car and heading for the highway to explore new places and visit favorite old haunts. I'm a city girl at heart, but need to get "far from the madding crowd" once in a while and explore the wide open spaces this great country has to offer. Aside from road trips, I like cruising to places like Alaska and Bermuda and frequently visit Europe - France, Italy, Germany, Spain and, of course, England. I enjoy singing at a local bar on open mike night, as well as karaoke. For fun, I decided to enter Vero Beach's Senior "Idol" competition in March 2013 and to my surprise won! I enjoy dining out with friends, but I also like cooking and entertaining at home too. I now volunteer at the Vero Beach Theatre Guild as a performer and on the fundraising committee. As you can see, I'm a typical Gemini with a wide range of interests and a youthful outlook on life. My ideal man is confident, serious sometI'mes and full of fun too, spontaneous and creative, loving and passionate, and still has a zest for life. I hope you like the occasional road trip as I know I'd enjoy showing my favorite haunts to a compatible, adventurous, fun-loving travel companion who is still passionate about love and life.
