Hi ... I am your average single mother ... I own my own home and enjoy working in and around it. I've raised two fine sons who are out on their own and I have an 11 year old son at home. While he is my prirority, I have learned that it is all too soon that they are off and on their own. As it is, he has his friends and things to do and spends less and less tI'me at home with me. I can usually keep myself busy with things around the house or find something to do outside the home, I'd like to find that special someone to share these things with or find some new interests to share. I like to do a lot of things ... most of which are not fun to do alone. It's been a few years that I have been single, but my prI'mary concentration was on raising my son, working and going to school. I am monogamous when in a relationship and prefer a man who feels the same way. I am utI'mately hoping for something long term. The "man of my dreams" will have children of his own (still at home or grown and out of the house). He will be a non-smoker. Though he might drink on occasion, he should not have a drinking problem or use illegal drugs. He should be willing to communicate ... I realized long ago that I cannot read minds ... though being a woman I still try(and usually fail epically). If we cannot communicate, the odds of making a relationship work are pretty slI'm. He should live within 25 miles. (Closer's better) I'm not looking for a long distance relationship. I'm not the princess type. I've lived single for years and am pretty independent. I'd like a partner ... someone who shares in the housework, yardwork, decision making and FUN! I tend to stay at home a lot these days but I'd love to get out more and do things. I earn enough to pay the bills and often have some to spare for fun stuff. There are a lot of fun things we can do for little or no cost.
