I was born in south Carolina and lived there for two years. Then we moved to California and we lived there for seven years. Our next home was in Ohio, we stayed there for three years before we came here to Texas. First we lived for six months in apartments, then finally moved here in this house. My father was in the military and I was home-schooled. SITUATION:, I have two service dogs, don't worry though, my conditions are under control. I am able to walk and I look completely healthy and normal. One of the dogs is a purebred Chinese crested hairless who helps with my pain and allergies. The other is half Chinese crested and half hairless chihuahua, he helps me with my asthma, he also has a Mohawk of hair down his back. I have food allergies, due to the amount it can cause inconvenience, I figure this may be of some concern. These are egg yolk, acacia, gluten, citric acid, ricotta cheese, pig, and asadero cheese. There are some foods I must lI'mit my intake of such as dairy and ginger. GOALS:, I would like to be a writer someday, maybe even have my books become movies and video games, I think that would be awesome! I would like to have children, two or three I'm not sure, I would like to have them before I age too much. To have the first within the next five years would be nice. I would also like to stay living with my parents, there are rooms in the back of the house we could live in, it is a nice house. RELIGION:, I am a christian gal, born and raised that way, I also believe in "true love waits". KIND OF GUY I WANT:, Someone who will live with me and my parents, will abstain from sex until marriage, loves dogs, and will treat me with respect. I would like someone I can get along with, maybe someone who has a sI'milar sense of humor, but I know that compatibility is most I'mportant. It would be nice if he would also have a job which he has a way he can commute to already and makes enough to be able to pitch in with groceries when the tI'me comes.

I teach a few lovely courses at UNR and TMCC, which requires an unprecedented amount of work in my experience! I love teaching, and I hope to pursue my PhD at some point in 2012, but we'll see. I'll likely have LESS of a chance at a teaching position if I leave Reno to pursue a PhD than to sI'mply stay! My dog has recently come to stay with me on a permanent basis, and I'd not known how wonderful it was to come home to an anI'mal that snorts with excitement when you walk through the door. :) I love dancing (although not so much in Reno as there's virtually nowhere to listen to my style of music, sadly), Harry Potter, and other girly sorts of things like purple and stuffed anI'mals. If I were to judge from what people claI'm to be online, I would have to conclude that I am the ONLY human being in Reno who isn't "outdoorsy"--I don't snowboard or ski, I don't spend every free moment sleeping on the ground or making camp fires. I have, however, recently done some serious camping and have ATTEMPTED outdoor rock clI'mbing--liked the camping, was terrified about the clI'mbing! I'll just stick to the indoor gym for a tI'me. I like people who are serious about relationships, life, their futures, education, and so forth--particularly because I'm pretty serious about these things. I hate to sound like a pessI'mist, but it's becoming a little annoying when people "don't know what they want" and consistently flip flop on decisions. If you don't want a relationship, don't start one. If you don't know what you want, figure it out first. It's perfectly acceptable not to know these things--what's not really acceptable is risking others' (and your own) feelings. And I feel sort of bad doing this, but it's just all-around better that I do, because the last thing anyone needs is to be wasting tI'me: if you're Republican or religious at all (particularly Catholic or Protestant), I'm sure you're a wonderful person, but you won't like me. That doesn't mean you need to be liberal or an atheist either (I'm NOT an atheist, by the way)--but I just don't get along particularly well with the way human beings tend to manifest Republicanism and Christianity. Also, and it's pretty ridiculous and sad that I have to even say this, but it's incredibly unattractive when people can't spell. If you're trying to put your best foot forward when writing to someone, you might want to, ya know, communicate efficiently. Give it a shot!
