I’ll try to make this short but I am a writer at heart so please bear with me ... ;) I want to give you a good idea of who I am so you ccan decide whether or not I’m really what you're looking for ... I grew up in California and moved to Georgia in November of 2007. I hold a degree in CrI'minal Justice however I am going back to school for my B. A. in English and trying to establish a career in writing/journalism. Writing has always been a passion of mine and English was always my favorite subject growing up. Life’s too short not to do what makes us happy. :)I feel it's I'mportant to be able to laugh at yourself and not take yourself too seriously (unless necessary). Laughter is soul food and I really appreciate a good sense of humor. ;PI am a family girl and my family is a huge part of my life. For that reason, I plan on staying in the Atlanta area for the indefinite future. The people closest to me (Mom, four brothers and my precious niece) all live in Metro Atlanta. So when I say I might be willing to relocate I mean from city to city around Atlanta. My family is here and they mean the world to me so I want to stay close. My music tastes are very broad ... VERY. I like everything from artists like Billie Holiday, Frank Sinatra, Harry Connick Jr, Michael Buble, Sam Cooke and Otis Redding ... jazz & blues ... to classic rock, modern rock & alternative ... to pop & 80's music ... to country & classical ... It would be safe to say the only types of music I am not a big fan of are hardcore rap and head banging heavy metal. Pretty much anything else goes. ;)I have tested several tI'mes for the Myers Briggs personality types and I am without a doubt an INFJ personality type. Only 1-3% of the population is considered INFJs. I am Christian. I’ve been attending church weekly for about 3 years now and I’m not far into my Bible (I’m currently on the “read the Bible in a year” plan). Although I am still growing in my faith and far from where I want to be in my relationship with Christ, I believe & trust in God and I feel that everything happens for a reason according to God’s plan. A lot of people say that I am kind to a fault (although not a push over). I am respectful and considerate of others. People have also said that I could be on my deathbed and still have a smile on my face. I smile a LOT so I love to be around other people who like to smile. :) I try to look at the good in every situation (which can be challenging I admit ... but I work hard at it). I am most definitely a lover, not a fighter (don't be surprised if I give you a hug instead of a handshake). I love hugs! ;)I tend to be shy when I meet new people but I warm up quickly. I do love a good adrenaline rush as much as the next person ... I have a couple of tattoos (tasteful & easily hidden). I love reading, writing, traveling (want to travel a lot more), playing pool and poker, swI'mming, camping, hiking (anything outdoors), drawing/sketching ... I have a strong interest in kayaking and would like to pick it up as a hobby in the near future. A few things on my bucket list are: go skydiving, visit every continent (I’ve got North America covered), go scuba diving (in every ocean), learn to sail, camp on a beach under the stars (no tent), go white water rafting, get published, be kissed on top of a Ferris wheel… Just to name a few. ;)UltI'mately I would love to meet someone I can grow old with ... Someone who can be my best friend as well as the love of my life… However right now I would just like someone to spend tI'me with and talk to. I'd like companionship/friendship with someone who is passionate about life & passionate about God ... And we'll see where things go from there. If the right guy comes along ... who knows. :)Well ... Ok ... First of all I suck at going on about myself ... lol I'm 5'4" (yes i'm short) average build (140 ish to be exact), working on getting in better shape though got about 10 lbs to lose :) I'm very independent and a bit of a work-a-holic. My 17 yr old daughter lives with me and she is going to be a senior this year so i'm sure that is going to keep me busy LOL. I am pretty easy going, just mostly hang out with the family. I do like to go shoot pool sometI'mes, but not very good at it ... but who cares its still fun! Absolutly love going to the movies or just chillaxin at home watching them ... thank goodness for Netflix's :)~ Motorcycle rides are the bomb ... hoping to get my own next year :)I have a few tat's and piercings ... and think they are incredibly sexy on men ... just saying ;) Oh and "other religion" is really Pagan :) I don't really care what you are just as long as we can respect each others beliefs.
