I just sold my house and am moving to the Bay Area to live in an assisted living senior community. I have Parkinson's disease which pretty much has taken me off the market so to speak and makes me an undesirable. I totally understand that nobody wants to get involved with a person who has an incurable brain disease. I am becoming more pathetic each day. But what doesn't kill you makes you stronger! I am really trying to maintain a sense of humor as I give away and sell all my much loved personal belongings so I can move into a 200 sq ft hallway in a building whose residents average age is 80+ years! I used to say "I have not given up hope that there is a special man out there for me", but I am telling the truth when I say I have given up hope. To all the guys that did respond to my ad or I had the pleasure to talk to or meet ... thank you. You lifted me up whenever I received a message that somebody was interested in me or wanted to meet me. I'll continue to check messages from my tiny hole in the wall room in the old folks home. :-) I'm not dead yet!
