Well I Have A Career, A House, And A Nice Network Of Family And Friends. I'Ve Found, Though, That Work And It'S Changing Schedule Keeps Me Busier Than I Like, Keeping Me From Spending Time With Them. What Was Really Cool Is It Was A Small Town, So Everyone Lived Close So It Was Nothing To Just Jog Or Walk To Each Other'S Place To Hang Out. Everyone Says I Have The Best Smile. If Only I Could Be A Crest Model :)I'M Pretty Laid Back, So I Like People To Be The Same. A Great Way To Get To Know Someone For Me Is To Go To A Movie, Walk Or Hike, Or E-Mails Work, Too. #1 - You Must Love Dogs. A Joke for ya ... HOW TO GET TO HEAVEN FROM IRELAND, I was testing children in my Dublin Sunday school class to see if they understood the concept of getting to Heaven. I asked them, 'If I sold my house and my car, had a big jumble sale and gave all my money to the church, would that get me into Heaven?', 'NO!' the children answered. "If I cleaned the church every day, mowed the garden, and kept everything tidy, would that get me into Heaven?', Again, the answer was 'No!' By now I was starting to smile. "Well, then, if I was kind to anI'mals and gave sweeties to all the children, and loved my husband, would that get me into Heaven?', Again, they all answered 'No!' I was just bursting with pride for them. I continued, 'Then how can I get into Heaven?', A six year-old boy shouted out "YUV GOTTA BE FUKN' DEAD!", I'm in a rambling kind of mood and so here goes. I had all this blah blah kinda sarcastic stuff up on my profile ... I'm not a normal woman and I know that. I'm not consumed by a what's in it for me mentality. I'm a giver ... and too many tI'mes in my life I've given until I have nothing left to give and ended up resenting it. I'm not high maintenance, as you see in my pictures I don't always have make up on. For the most part -most days I don't have make up on. I'm a very what you see is what you get kinda person. I am a former Marine. I'm a nurse. And a mother (kids are older). So - that instantly makes me blunt. I'm Not afraid of bodily functions - and able to handle stress in ways that most people can't. BECAUSE OF THIS I don't let the stupid stuff in life be a hassle. Life is too short to live with regrets ... like most of us have experienced. Sure there are things in my life that if I could do them over - I'd do them differently. But, life doesn't give mulligans. And I don't want to waste one second being with someone I'm not happy with, or someone that doesn't put the same priority on me that I give to them. I'm tired of living life on a one way street. A meaningful relationship takes two. I'm the type that doesn't mind getting dirty ... (no I don't mean sexually) I mean playing in the mud, in the grease ... tom boy type like stuff. I'm not inferring that I don't have manners and class, because I do. I'm just me - I don't wear a mask. The me you meet now will be the me you have 6 months from now - only better. Life just is what it is. And it's too short to not have fun and find the fun in all things possible. I love people. I'm the type that will strike up a conversation with complete strangers. I know who I am, what I want and what I'm about. I am funny, blunt, compassionate, empathetic, captivating, very good looking woman that is looking to suck the joy out of life. If you're looking for a wife. I'm NOT marriage minded. At least today I'm not. It would take a helluva man to get a ring on this finger. But I'm hoping maybe one day I'll find someone that will love me as much as I love them. Someone that's more afraid of life without me. Waiting for that one that takes my breath away ... maybe it's a fantasy - but I've loved one man once ... and I was happier than I've ever been, and I'm hoping to have that again. At least that's what I'm holding out for. I know he's out there and like the song says, I just haven't met you yet. I like to shoot anything I can get my hands on. I like to fish (and deep sea fishing). Amusement parks. Adrenaline rushes. Helicopter rides. I'm not going to say the same old same old cliche' things that everyone says ... (doesn't everyone love the beach and romantic dinners?) just that for the first tI'me in many many years I am so looking forward to what tomorrow brings - and One thing I do have to add though, I am a spontaneous person. I can't stand having a plan for *everything*. It's been a long tI'me since I've been on the back of a bike. I love to meet new people and travel. One day I'd love to be on a sleeper car train and just go. The where doesn't matter. It's the journey I love. My life can get crazy busy - but that doesn't change that a girl still likes to have fun and have someone to hang out and do things with. I enjoy all types of music - even Country music- but I also love classic rock, Oldies, an 80s junkie, some of the newer stuff (but I don't do rap). Hmmmmm what I'm looking for in a man ... Must have a sense of humor. I'm drawn to a man that has that quiet confidence. The man that's secure in hI'mself. I need someone that's able to communicate. Even if it makes you feel vulnerable.
