I am very much alone and rather than seclude myself I reach out from tI'me to tI'me to see if there is another that is in the same place. I don't ponder about age ... and that shouldn't make resistance happen. The I'mportant thing is to get over ourselves and let life happen. My cats have been part of my life for over 5 years now. They are the only sure thing I can count on being here when I get home. In another life I was a avid runner. I have been in many half marathons. I started in my mid 30's just jogging. I can assure you, running did not appeal to me then. I like controlling my tI'me with the City of Arvada engineers. I spend tI'me giving parties and handouts of samples of my cooking. I like to crock pot cook in winter. I am a fan of the Broncos and Nuggets. I was great in basketball in high school After college I worked high stress jobs for state and county -- including various smaller banks until I got to the big bank at the 16th street mall. I am pursuing a sI'mple, less-stress lifestyle, contentment, and being happy. I grew up with music of the 50's, 60's and 70's. I like symphonic, R&B, jazz, disco, ska, music. During my driving tI'mes I listen to cd stories. As a volunteer, I spend tI'me with the seniors in giving advice and helping them make decisions. Some of their precious tI'me is taken and they need something given back that is quality. The biggest problem I run into is their mechanics are leaving and they assistance to get to the store and doctor appointments I like humor of Bill Maher on HBO Real TI'me. I have a 2 book cases of books, but presently have them boxed up as I have outgrown my pad. I like humorous emails and the Denver Post. I like the mountains and nature. I love camping, cooking, riding motorcycles, rafting and love Chic-fil-a ice cream. My hiking takes me into various sights, along with a group that is with the Jefferson County Hikers Asso. I have yet to go on a cruise, but I have a current passport. From what I hear about these cruise lines, it's best to be grounded. I get National Geo and Smithsonian Magazine and AARP. I am affectionate and like romance. NO REPLYS WITHOUT A PHOTO IN POF.
