I love life, and as the years go by I realize every sunrise and every sunset is such a precious gift. I beleve that you can feel love when it is real, love is fragile, once it is broken ... it cannot be fixed. The same is true with trust. I never say goodbye to family and friends without saying "I Love You", No one know what fate can bring you. You never know if you will ever be given a second change to tell them. I love holding hands while strolling along, I like a man being a gentleman, opening doors, flowers, card for special occassions, or for the heck of it. I love travel ... day trips, long trip, car, air, train, I have alawys wanted to take a trip in a big beautiful motorhome, just so I could say I did. I love a fresh, hot cup of coffee in the mornings and its even more special with someone special to share it. I love the Great Smoky Mountain, and the entertainment " Memories Theater, "Country tonite" Temptations Show Place" ... etc;, I also love booking a Chalet or Cabin in the Smokies (not to rustic :) To enjoy the breath taking scenery, of course with a hut tub on a cool night. I enjoy movies, both in theaters and at home on DVD. I love music, I am very flexable on my taste in music, country is my favorite ... I don't care for rap. I love the Arts, last play I saw was "Murder" in Abingdon, Va at the Barter Theater. I love to cook, but I also love to dine out also, and finding new places to go for dinning. I raised two wonderful children and a grandson, I am so proud they grew up to be the people they are today. You have to be a parent to fully appriciate what that means to be able to say it. I am looking for someone who is past all the game playing, and drama. Games are for children. I am not looking for anyone that has something to prove, at our ages the best part of life is being who we are. I don't want someone who is hell bent on getting revenge on the woman who hurt you, or an ax to grind an ex. I don't want to be compared to a memory of someone from your past, I want to make my own memories and not try to live up to someone elses memory. I want someone who after knowing me, would care enough to understand all my silly little moods and whI'ms as I would your.
