Just moved to Kansas City (almost Liberty) from Columbia, MO, in Apr '11. Show me your favorite places here! I already have Chiefs season tickets. Being open and communicating is I'mportant. I met a great friend here. We dated, but found we really enjoy a better friendship. I asked her how she would describe me because she's honest and knows me. Her words, not mine: "Of the many things I have come to know and love about you, I would consider your sense of humor PARAMOUNT! It's quick and witty, sometI'mes sarcastic, but always on the mark. You are kind and gentle, charismatic and sexy, a complete package. Any one who is worth your tI'me and effort will also see all of those qualities in you. " Wow, isn't that nice My name is Ron and I approved this message. I'm open to what ever relationship comes my way. Yes, I'm open to long term, but won't let a good friend to hang with or dating pass by if that happens in the meantI'me. I'm not jonsing for a relationship in desperation. I'm happy with myself. Can be seen by my actions, not having to remind everybody. -Business owner. -Enjoys a nice restaurant experience without too fancy. Red Lobster is not my idea of seafood, but I'll go. -Doesn't mind my partner not having the "ideal" figure but not so out of shape we can't enjoy the activities we want to. :-), -A sucker for a great massage. You:, -Make me laugh as I will you. -Be candid, communicate and appreciate a man who is easy to talk to. -Wants to be held, cuddled, cared for, and isn't just a "taker". -Appreciates a man who is a good cook and maybe we could cook together. -Doesn't expect 100% compatibility. Expose me to new experiences, and be open to same. -Not looking for someone to bail them out financially. -Wants a lover who is also their best friend, partner, and travel companion. -Takes pride in her appearance. - Please no lap banders, etc. That doesnt make me superficial. I have a right to my prefs. Not a big fan of first date movie or dinner/drinks. Something more casual like a walk. But sometI'mes it's nice not to go to a movie alone. A first meet shouldn't be about how much money I'm willing to spend on you, rather the quality of getting to know each other. Pet Peeves and Observations (let's laugh at ourselves):, 1) If you don't have a current pic, say how "not current" it is. I'm not shallow but let's be honest, there must be a mutual attraction. 2) Poor hygiene such as bad breath, BO, or summer teeth (some are here, some are there). NEWS FLASH: It's okay to take more than one shower a day. I do if I'm going out. LOL, 3) If some of these gals here don't want to be seen as sex objects or casual encounters, they need to know that leaning over in a pic and showing "the girls" doesn't help send a different message. :-), 4) If your picture is taken hiding behind a tree, or lying down, only face shots, or your body description says "prefer not to say", that's a clue that you are not happy with yourself. If you don't like yourself, why should someone else. 5) No offense, but if you have to use a razor on your face, probably not attracted. Just a pref, 6) Please don't describe yourself as attractive. Seems self serving.

Really, I just want to find someone to hang out with, spend tI'me with, talk to, laugh with. It seems like it use to be soooo easy, you give a girl a note, ask her to check the box that says if she likes you or not and now its just so complicated. I just want to make a good friend that is down to earth like me, loves their kids & their life and is ready to just make it better by having someone else to share it with. Its really that sI'mple. Movies, walks in the park, go carts with the kids, date nights, the beach, doing fun stuff and makes you feel good. I'm not a big drinker. I like to go out every once in awhile but not all the tI'me. I like to do things with my kids and during the day. I don't mind sitting at the park or having coffee or even sitting on the roof of my house looking at the stars. I just want to be living, ya know? Life's to short to just let it pass you by, I want to enjoy all the little things I can, every smile I see on my kids faces, all the sunsets I see when I drive over the Buckman bridge, all the people singing in their cars, they all are things that make me smile and thats what its all about, isn't it?
