Don't settle, If you feel like you are being strung along, they probably are. Don't stay because you think "it will get better. " You'll be mad at yourself a year later for staying when things are not better. The only person you can control in a relationship is you. Always have your own set of friends separate, as well as one's in common. Maintain boundaries in how someone treats you. If something bothers you, speak up. You cannot change their behavior. Change comes from within. Don't EVER make someone feel they are more I'mportant than you are ... ever, Do not make them into a quasi-god. They are human beings, nothing more nothing less. Never let someone define who you are. Never borrow someone else's someone.
